Objective: Retrieve Halsey’s Constructor
Spartan Palmer drops off Fireteam Osiris a few klicks from the Constructor’s location. Com traffic indicates that several Swords of Sanghelios strike teams are also being deployed to the area. Good to know you aren’t alone.
Advance along the watery path until you reach a river 1. Go left and drop to lower ground, then use Artemis to detect an ancient Sangheili sword nearby. Scan the blade for a bit of intel, then climb back up to the high ground and advance into the nearby ruin 2.

A few Grunts lurk inside the ruin 2. Pick them off and then scan the nearby data pad on the left for more intel (use Artemis to pinpoint the data pad). Press onward to encounter several more Grunts and an Elite 3. Neutralize all hostiles and then advance outside.

As you step out of the ruin 4, you witness the Covenant’s massive Kraken being driven off by the Arbiter’s fleet of Banshees. While watching the scene unfold, use Artemis to detect a data pad on the nearby statue. Climb up and scan it for more Mission Intel. Grab the Carbine you find up here as well.

Drop from the statue after scanning the data pad, and move to the nook beyond the nearby toppled pillar 5. There’s a weak wall over here; smash through it with a Spartan Charge to discover a Fuel Rod Cannon. Grab this powerful weapon or give it to a teammate before advancing.
Shielded Jackals storm down the stairs on your left as you advance 7. Light them up, along with the Elite lurking nearby.
Scale the stairs from which the Jackals emerged 7 to reach some weapons, including a mighty Beam Rifle. More Covies are just ahead, and they’ve fortified their position with three Plasma Cannon Turrets 8. Taking the left stairs positions you to pick off the turrets’ gunners. A few grenades or blasts from the Fuel Rod Cannon will quickly neutralize the turrets as well.
Alternate ApproachRather than scaling the left stairs 7, you can sprint into the tower on the right 9. You’ll briefly be exposed to Plasma Cannon Turret fire, but once you reach the tower, you’ll discover a fully loaded Storm Rifle and a means of flanking the Covenant gunners. This tower holds a data pad as well, so you’ll want to check it at some point. |
Legendary StrategyThe entrenched Covenant can be difficult to deal with on Legendary. Use grenades or the Fuel Rod Cannon to obliterate the Plasma Cannon Turrets and simplify the fight. |
Just beyond the Plasma Cannon Turrets, the Covenant forces have erected a shield that blocks your progress. Check the side tower 9 to discover a data pad if you haven’t already, then destroy the shield by peppering it with sustained fire from a detached Plasma Cannon Turret, or by looping around to the right to get an angle on the shield generator through large holes in the crumbling wall 10.

With the shield down, press forward into the temple ahead. A lot of ground lies between you and the Constructor’s location, but as luck would have it, five Ghosts are parked right nearby 11—enough for your whole Fireteam. Climb into a Ghost, and the rest of Osiris will do the same. Zip out of the temple and engage the Covenant forces outside.
Lay waste to the gang of Grunts you encounter just ahead, but beware: The fearsome Kraken soon returns. Seek shelter in the ruin ahead and to the left 12, but beware of several suicide Grunts storming out of the ruin. Fall back and blast them all before entering.
Take the far-left passage through the ruin to discover a spare Ghost and a data pad 13. Hop out for a moment and scan the data pad, then consider grabbing the fresh Ghost if yours has taken damage.

Return to your Ghost and ride onward. Many more Covenant foes lie ahead, including a hostile Ghost. Remain evasive as you unload on the Covies with your Ghost’s fast-firing blasters.
The temple grounds are just ahead, and beyond them, the Constructor. But before entering the temple grounds, turn around and use Artemis to detect a data pad atop the nearby rock formation 14. To reach it, sprint toward the rock formation from the nearby high ground, then jump and thrust toward it in midair. Climb up onto the rock and scan the data pad for intel.

Ghosts won’t fit through the temple grounds’ decrepit entrance 15, so park and go it on foot. Ensure that you’re carrying Plasma Grenades and plenty of Carbine ammo, then follow Artemis through the ruin to reach the temple grounds.
