Halo 5: Guardians features more than 1,000 REQ Cards. Use these cards to customize your Spartan or gain access to powerful weapons, vehicles, and power-ups. Each card has characteristics determining how they function:
Cosmetic: These cards can be used to customize your Spartan through the application of new armor, helmets, visors, and more. Cosmetic REQ Cards can be used in both Arena and Warzone.
Game-Impacting: Consisting of weapons, vehicles, boosts, and power-ups, these cards have a direct impact on your Spartan’s performance. With the exception of XP and RP boosts, these cards can only be activated during Warzone.
Permanent: Once you receive a permanent card, it stays in your collection forever; you won’t receive the same permanent REQ Card twice.
Single-Use: These cards are consumable, disappearing from your collection once activated. You can receive duplicate single-use cards in REQ Packs for repeated activations.
