Gang War: Rexford Kaylock

Objective: Confront Rexford Kaylock

Location: Northeast Whitechapel Stronghold

Collect items and open Chests that stand between the Templar Hunt location and the Gang War Stronghold. When you arrive (1) you find Henry Green waiting for you. He says all that stands between you and Whitechapel is the villain controlling the borough. He hands the twins Ivory Kukri and tells you to gather your allies.

Location: Whitechapel Train Station

You exit a carriage after a mediator settles Kaylock’s terms. You find your stop is at the Whitechapel Train Station. This is a war over Kaylock’s train hideout. Next thing you know you and seven Rooks line up and face down seven Blighters in formation across the yard (2). The best way to get this party started is by lobbing a smoke bomb right between warring gangs.

Objective: Eliminate 10 Blighters

Run into the cloud and start performing Attack Combos on the nearest enemies. If one blocks, move to the next closest target. You won’t encounter many blocks in a cloud of smoke; most everyone you attack dies at the end of one good combo.

Lay down a second smoke bomb as the first cloud dissipates. This allows you to finish off the remaining Blighters without so much as a bruise.

Objective: Kill Rexford Kaylock

Location: Moving Train

After you defeat the tenth Blighter, you see Kaylock atop his train hideout as it begins to move away from the station.

Run after it, leaping to the passenger platform in the train station (3). Match the train’s speed and immediately latch onto the side of the train and scramble up to the top.

You must confront the Soldiers before you can get to Kaylock who’s a few cars ahead. Attack one enemy at a time. They are weak and go off the edge of the train after a simple combo.

There’s a Brute to fight just before you get to Kaylock. As soon as the Brute jumps onto your car, lay into him with a combo. He breaks the first attack so be prepared to Counter, then Stun, and then Attack once again to finish him off. Now for Kaylock’s turn.

Kaylock Battle

Start by accepting Kaylock’s invitation for first blood; he left himself wide open for attack. Lay into him with a complete combo and then Counter his retaliation attack. Next, break his defense that follows. Then lay into another long combo attack. By the end of this second combo, you end up kicking Kaylock off the train for a quick victory. Nice Job.

The Rooks now run Whitechapel and you have gained a Train Hideout. The broken grappling hook gun is recovered after the battle. Rooks rejoice in the streets, celebrating their victory. This Sequence ends and Sequence 4 continues on the train with some new faces.
