Assassin's Creed Syndicate eGuide Reference and Analysis

Skills and Levels

Whether you’re playing as Jacob or Evie Frye, your skill set and level play a huge part in your survivability, as well as your offensive dominance, in the different areas of London.

Leveling

Leveling is accomplished by investing certain amounts of Skill Points into Jacob or Evie’s Skill Trees. They both start at level one, maxing out at level 10. Each level unlocks new skills, as well as new equipment and available upgrades to older equipment.

Skill Points are gained by acquiring experience. Your progression to the next skill point is seen as a small blue meter on the right side of your mini-map, on the lower left hand corner of the screen. Experience is shared between Jacob and Evie so swapping between the two does not cause a drop on the meter.

Experience can be gained by completing sequences, participating in public events, or completing various activities in the Boroughs.

Skills

Each character has a separate skill tree that must be trained and leveled. This means that you can really focus on making each character a specialist, with Evie being more stealth oriented and Jacob taking a more aggressive stance with enemies.

Skill points are distributed evenly between the Frye twins. For example, if Jacob is awarded skill points, Evie is automatically awarded the same amount of skill points, regardless of her participation in the event.

Evie and Jacob each have three unique abilities in the tree that can only be unlocked by that character.
