An Explosive End

Location: Southwark

Follow the “M” icon in Southwark to a man at the mouth of an alley near the Abbot’s Cocoa Powder building. This is Frank Morris (1); you just helped his son, the anarchist in the last Marx memory. He has found the Templar’s stash of explosives and will stop at nothing to acquire it.

Objective: Hide in the Templar carriage

Frank points to a carriage on the other end of the alley that you can hide in to get carried to the Templar explosive cache. You have 30 seconds to reach it. Run east through the alley.

Ignore whatever Templars may be around and just run behind the carriage (2) and sneak up to the side door. Make sure to press and hold the Hide button. If you miss your chance and the carriage drives off, tail it.

Objective: Reach the Templar hideout

Take the ride to the factory (3). Wait inside the carriage until the two Templars get out.

Objective: Destroy nitroglycerin (5)

Challenge: Kill 5 Templars using nitroglycerin

Allow one Templar to walk away and then whistle while inside the cart. Cover Assassinate the Templar when she inspects the sound closely. Whistle for the Templar that walked away and execute him the same way.

You do not need to remain undetected for any reason except easier survival, so move about the hideout seeking out the nitroglycerin crates (they glow yellow when Eagle Vision is activated). Red blips on the map represent the locations of the nitro.

If you want to complete the Challenge, it’s best to throw the crates at the Templars.

Once you have fulfilled the Challenge of defeating five Templars with nitro, you can dispose of the remaining crates how you please.

Shoot the nitro crates when Templars pass them on their patrol routes.

Objective: Speak to Marx

Once all the nitro crates are destroyed you must find and speak with Marx (4) to complete the memory. Follow the green blip on the map. He is now located to the southwest about 120 meters away from the hideout.
