Cane-Sword: Charles Dicken’s Cane-Sword

Location: Public House Pub, The Strand

Meet Charles Dickens in the pub (1) in The Strand to start an investigation of the most haunted house in London.

Objective: Follow Dickens

Follow Dickens out of the pub and to the nearby carriage (2). Enter the carriage and Charles boards.

Objective: Reach the haunted house

Drive Dickens to the haunted house (3) just north of the Royal Society Buildings.

Objective: Investigate the haunted house

You must find two clues inside the house: the piano on the second floor and the rocking crib on the third. Once you inspect both, a child can be head laughing in the hallway.

Objective: Find the origin of the laughter

Follow the little girl down the stairs to the second floor and inspect the piano.

A little boy appears at the stairs. Chase him outside the house.

Outside, two more children join the run to confuse you. Only chase down and tackle one of them.

Objective: Speak to Dickens and Open Secret Door

Speak to Dickens who is now on the third floor of the haunted house. Use a key (that you have already) to unlock a secret passage. The lock is below the painting near Dickens. Use Eagle Vision to find it easily.

Objective: Investigate the haunted house

Head up the stairs through the secret door and pull both the levers (they glow yellow with Eagle Vision activated). These control the haunted piano and crib.

Objective: Kill the madman and Speak to Dickens

The levers open another secret wall beside you on the fourth floor. Quickly rush into the room and catch the madman off guard. Kill him and then speak to Dickens outside in the backyard (4) to complete the memory.
