Belt: Spring-Heeled Jack Belt

Location: Near Lambeth Asylum, Lambeth

Meet Charles Dickens (1) standing on the side of the road near a tree on a corner near Lambeth Asylum. In this memory, Spring-Heeled Jack returns to bedevil the good people of London and he must finally be stopped.

Objective: Follow Dickens

Follow Charles as he runs north for Jack’s last known position (2).

Objective: Kill Jack

When you run to attack Jack, who is currently assaulting a female victim on a wet dirt road, he suddenly throws a smoke bomb and escapes heading north. Your objective changes.

Objective: Tackle Jack

Follow him up to the rooftop of the nearest building to the right (3). Once you reach the rooftop the Challenge kicks in: Do not touch the ground.

There’s no catching him until he reaches his predetermined destination, so just concentrate on Rope Launching from rooftop to rooftop without ever touching the ground until you reach the railroad bridge.

Avoid ziplining the few times Spring-Heeled Jack stops to shoot at you. Press / to dodge the bullet or get behind cover when this happens.

See our map for help with a good Rope Launching path.

After a few rooftop hops, Jack appears directly behind you (4) and you get a chance to attack him. Attack him but don’t attempt to tackle him. After some damage he uses a smoke bomb to escape.

When you reach the rooftop (5) near the tracks, Rope Launch to the signal truss (6) instead of getting on the tracks with Jack. A train wizzes by and could kill you if you get hit.

Jump down to the tracks and attack Jack. The tracks are not the ground—so you won’t fail the Challenge. He throws a smoke bomb again and appears again on the ground to the north (7). Do not follow him to the ground.

Zipline to the corner of the rooftop (8) to the north of the tracks and Jack.

Continue to follow the rooftops as Jack runs along the street below heading for the train station. Zipline to the train station rooftop as soon as it’s within range.

Run after Jack on the train station rooftop. Tackle him and he splits into three Jacks, so defeat them all. In the end, Spring-Heeled Jack disappears in smoke and can be seen leaping off the end of the train station’s rooftop. The mystery remains unsolved.
