There are six different types of Equipment found in the Inventory of Jacob and Evie: Weapons, Assassin Gauntlets, Firearms, Belts or Capes, Outfits, and Colors. Each piece of Equipment, with the exception of Colors, can be upgraded one time.
Weapons
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate grants you the choice of over 50 weapons separated into three different weapon classes, all with very distinct differences.
Cane-Sword
Cane-Swords have the highest Impact, but are less lethal when compared to other weapon types.

Firearms
Firearms become available after Sequence 3. They make countering ranged enemies much easier and, in most cases, more lethal than combating them with throwing knives. This increased lethality comes at a cost however. These firearms are incredibly loud, making stealth assassinations with them nearly impossible.
