Cruel Caricature

Location: Covent Garden, The Strand

Talk to Charles Darwin (1) inside Covent Garden. He is standing beside one of his distasteful caricatures being distributed around town. He wants you to track down the source of the anti-Darwin propaganda.

Objective: Find and Remove 4 posters

Poster 1

There are four Darwin propaganda posters to remove, starting with the one near Darwin at the beginning of the memory. There are three in The Strand and the furthest one is in City of London.

Poster 2

Recruit Rooks in the area as needed; you run into Templars guarding each poster location. Head to the second blip representing the next closest flier (2). When you get near, a green search area appears on the map. From the framework at the top of the building, use Eagle Vision to spot the flyer on the southwestern wall on the first floor of the market.

vYou must be anonymous to rip the flyer off the wall, so defeat the three Templars in the area starting by Air Assassinating one of them to get to the lower floor. Use a smoke bomb to defeat the remaining two if needed.

Poster 3

Exit the market and grab a carriage. Drive it to the next nearest flier (3) to the east. Recruit Rooks along the way if needed.

Send your Rooks into the alleyway (3) to fight the Templars. Eliminate the rooftop sniper yourself. You can hide inside the nearby house to stay anonymous afterward. Tear down the poster when the Templars are drawn away to fight your Rooks.

Poster 4 - Location: City of London

Exit the alley and grab a carriage. Drive it to the next nearest flier (4) in the City of London. Recruit Rooks along the way if needed. When you reach the intersection marked on our map, you spot a horse-drawn bus moving in your direction. The poster is on the driver’s side of this bus.

Follow the bus and ride alongside of it. Get to your rooftop and leap to the bus. Hijack the bus, stop it, and tear the poster off.

Objective: Find posters

Now you need to find who is distributing the posters. Follow the green blip (or the route if you are in a carriage) on the map to the location (5) in Southwark under a bridge.

Objective: Tackle the billposter

When you reach the location you can spot a man in a top hat running away. Chase him and tackle him. Follow our route on our map to head him off in the railyard. If you don’t catch him he leads you directly to the sewer entrance. If you do catch him, he spills the beans revealing the sewer entrance.

Objective: Find the sewer’s entrance

Follow the green blip to find the sewer entrance beside a warehouse (6) in the area. Enter the sewers.

Objective: Find the print shop

Location: Southwark Sewers

Follow the sewer pathway, jumping down to the lower tunnels in the first clearing. There are a of couple Templars with their backs to you just beyond a Slide Under grate. Dual Assassinate them. Just beyond these two is the sewer print shop (7).

Objective: Sabotage 5 printers and posters

Challenge: Sabotage all printers at once

Use the high hanging pipes in the printing chamber to Air Assassinate the enemies inside. Avoid blowing up the dynamite crates.

Use all of the dynamite crates from all over the room to complete the Challenge of blowing everything up at once. Spread the crates evenly between all the printers and the poster on the easel in the middle of the chamber.

Get to the high platform near the entrance tunnel and shoot the dynamite crate in the middle of the crate trail. This completes the objective as all of the targets blow up at once.

Objective: Reach the sewer exit

Exit the printer chamber through the high exit tunnel to the north, on the opposite side of the entrance tunnel. Follow the tunnels to the exit near a shallow channel (8).
