Smuggler’s Boat

Smuggler’s Boat activities only occur in The Thames River. You are tasked with sabotaging their cargo, with an added optional Challenge of killing the Lead Smuggler.

Sabotaging the Goods

Each Smuggler’s Boat activity requires you to destroy valuable cargo aboard the ships. These can only be destroyed with the TNT or Nitroglycerin crates that are scattered around the ships.

While there is plenty to use, make sure you don’t use all of the explosives to clear out enemies.

If there are no explosives left on the ship containing the goods, use Eagle Vision to locate some on one of the other ships. If there is no bridge connecting them, toss some over by pressing L2 / LT to aim, then R2 / RT to throw the crate.

Killing the Lead Smuggler

First things first! Identify the smuggler. The smuggler is outlined in yellow with the help of Eagle Vision.

Killing the lead smuggler is a pretty easy task due to the amount of explosives available. Assassinating the smuggler by jumping off of a nearby crate or using a cover assassination is also a good option.

Nitro bottles are the easiest to use against the lead smuggler, but you can also ignite TNT on the ground, then quickly pick it up and throw it at the smuggler. Depending on how close the lead smuggler is to the blast, you may need to use a ranged attack to finish them off. Use cover to give yourself time to line up some critical ranged attacks.
