Fight Clubs

Each borough houses a fight club with increasing difficulty, offering rewards for each round that you defeat the other competitors. Fight Clubs are unlocked after speaking to Robert Topping, which becomes available after Sequence 3.

Fighting

The basics section will give you a good run down on how to fight effectively but let’s touch on a few things.

No Weapons or Consumables

The only thing you can bring into the ring is your fists. This means no medicine to heal you when you are injured, no quickshots to hit enemies at a distance, and no smoke bombs to disorient groups of enemies.

No Hiding

Since you can’t retreat from combat, you cannot heal. No health is gained between rounds, so try and keep your face pretty by countering opponents’ attacks.

Odd Man Out

While there are other competitors in the ring with you, they do not fight each other. This means you fight multiple enemies at once. Focus on killing one enemy at a time, but don’t let this stop you from countering other enemies who try to attack you.

When deciding on which enemy to attack, chose an enemy who is not in a guarded stance. While you attack one of the other enemies in the ring he will most likely try to attack. Once he begins his attack, counter then attack. This breaks his guarded stance without you breaking your combat flow to take an enemy out of a guarded stance.

If you’re fighting just one enemy, let them swing first. Counter the first attempt at an attack and then unleash a fury of punches to debilitate them.
