Crafting is essential in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. To craft an item you must first meet the minimum requirements for it, this can be a blueprint, unique and regular resources as well as some in-game currency, or £. Consumables cannot be crafted, however upgrades to increase the amount you can hold or their over all effectiveness can be crafted.
Crafting Materials
Basic Crafting Materials
Money (£) can be acquired by completing sequences, participating in crowd events, opening chests, as well as from the safe in the Train hideout. Silk, Leather, Chemicals, and Metal can be acquired from the Chests scattered around the city (check out the Collectibles section for all the Chest locations). Crafting Resources can also be purchased with real world currency in varying amounts by pressing (
/ 
) in the crafting menu. While not necessary, purchasing resources can save you some time, allowing you to focus more on the story and less on searching for resources.
Unique Crafting Materials
Unique crafting materials are given as rewards from the Large Chests (see the Collectibles section to learn which Chest holds each specific material). Unique materials are also earned by completing Memory Sequences.
Blueprints
Much like unique crafting materials, blueprints are given as rewards from Large Chests, as well as from different Memory Sequences. Blueprints can also be acquired by gaining levels with your Associates. Each blueprint is tied to a specific item, whether it be a new cloak or an upgrade for a piece of equipment.
