Cape: Goldred Cloak

Location: The Foreign Office, Westminster

The memory start location is on a balcony column on the top of The Foreign Office (1). From his perch high above, Jacob spots Benjamin Disraeli and his wife, Mary Anne, leaving their home on 10 Downing St. and entering a chauffeured carriage. A house call is out of the question. You must infiltrate the carriage if you want to warn the Prime Minister about a viable threat on his life.

Current Objective: Infiltrate the Disraelis’ carriage

The Disraelis enter the carriage (2) in front of their house and remain there until you infiltrate it. So you have time to strategize. There are policemen across the street and a couple that patrol the sidewalk near the carriage. The only way to enter the carriage is to remain anonymous. Zipline to their house’s rooftop (3) and look over the edge to the top of their carriage. Watch the patrolling police below. When they have passed the carriage, look to the buildings (4) directly across the street and find a low Rope Launch lock-on that allows you to drop to the sidewalk right beside the carriage’s door. Quickly open the door before any of the cops see you.

Inside the carriage, Jacob warns the Prime Minister about the threat on his life. As the Prime Minister begins to question the validity of this news, a gunshot rings in the distance. Jacob leaps out of the carriage and into action.

Current Objective: Defend the Disraelis

Challenge: Keep the carriage’s damage below 50%

When you exit the carriage you are tasked with defending it from attacking Blighters. The Challenge is to keep its damage below fifty percent. A damage gauge appears on screen. Currently there are four aggressors on two high balconies (4) on the building across the street from the carriage. Quickly Rope Launch to the rooftop of the building the Blighters are on. Accessing the rooftop puts you above them, giving you the height advantage.

You may be able to achieve a Double Air Assassination on the Watchers on the balcony below, but don’t waste too much time trying to achieve this as the Challenge does not leave much time for flawless execution. Defeat the Watchers on the first balcony and then Rope Launch back up to the rooftop and perform a similar attack on the Watchers on the second balcony.

As soon as you kill the fourth Watcher on the balconies, two more Watchers and a Brute appear on the sidewalk below. Free Run Down to the lower balcony above these enemies. You can acquire an Air Assassination target lock on the nearest Watcher. Execute her this way and then use your fighting skills to eliminate the Brute and other Watcher.

After defeating the first seven attackers, three more come running into action from the west end of the street. Rush them and attack using a smoke bomb and your blade. Defeating all of these Blighters triggers a cinematic. In it, a Blighter takes control of the Prime Minister’s carriage and begins speeding off with the Disraelis inside.

Current Objective: Hijack the carriage

Challenge: Hijack the carriage in less than one minute

The Challenge for keeping the carriage’s damage below 50% is over. To fulfill the next Challenge, you must hijack the Prime Minister’s carriage in less than a minute. It races east down the street. There is an unoccupied parked carriage beside you. Take it and give chase.

Two Blighters in a single carriage join the Challenge when you follow the Disraeli’s carriage as it turns west around the next corner (5). As you race after the carriage on this street, you pass a single Blighter in a carriage (6) who is alerted to this chase. He turns around and tries to attack you. In the next turn (7) one more Blighter carriage enters the chase. Now there are three Blighter carriages after you and you should be very close to the Prime Minister by now.

Equip your pistol and use Quickshots to fend off the enemy while continuing to focus on your driving and catching up to the Disraeli’s carriage. You should be able to catch up with it when you reach the road heading southwest. Drive up beside the carriage, go to the roof, jump to the Prime Minister’s carriage, and then hijack the driver.

Current Objective: Hijack the carriage

There are likely Blighters still hot on your tail, so use Quickshots and carriage ramming to get rid of them. You must now become anonymous; so watch the Mini-Map to help you drive out of the red zones. The red zones turn to green zones. Drive out of the green zone to become anonymous.

In a cinematic, Jacob returns the Disraelis to their home. The Prime Minister curses the name of Gladstone, swearing, “He will pay for this!” Jacob asks Mary Anne Disraili if she knows of a man that fits the sniper’s description of her contact. Mary Anne does not answer the question directly and asks Jacob if he would give her a tour of slums, the “Devil’s Acre” to see how bad it really is and if you agree, she will assist you with your inquiry.
