Operation: Drive For Lives

Location: Buckingham Palace, Westminster

You can find Queen Victoria (1) out for a walk on the pathway behind Buckingham Palace in Westminster. She tells you that Mr. Fleming has found out from the Templar leader you captured in the last memory that an attack is imminent. He escaped custody and is thought to be hiding in Westminster.

Objective: Locate the Templar leader

Follow the green blip two blocks to the south. When you near the corner (2) you spot a carriage with the Templar leader inside (still marked with a green blip).

Objective: Tail the Templar leader

Hijack a carriage and pursue the fleeing Templar. His route is marked on our map. If you lose sight of him a timer counts down from 15 seconds. If it reaches zero you fail the mission. If you get too close to the leader then you also fail the mission.

Follow the Templar leader to London Victoria Station. He pulls into the tunnel running through the station. Exit your carriage and watch the Templar exit his to interact with more Templars in the tunnel.

Objective: Hijack the carriage

Once the Templar Leader is out of the carriage you can rush into the tunnel staying to the far left side and rush to the driver’s seat of the carriage and jack it without a fight. Drive off quickly.

Objective: Reach a safe area

Challenge: Reach a safe place in less than 80 sec

Before you could leave, a Templar ignites the explosive crates in your carriage. There is a “Time before explosion” meter at the top of the screen. If this drains, you blow up and fail the memory. Running into objects takes time away from the explosion meter so drive fast, but carefully.

Speed eastward away from the train station and across the bridge following the route indicated on the street and your Mini-Map. You have to deal with an unusually high volume of traffic along the way as well as some carriage-driving Templar aggressors. Use Quickshots to fend them off while focusing on your driving. Just beyond the first right over the bridge you see the Reach marker. Quickly pull into it and get out of the carriage.

Objective: Escape the area before the carriage explodes

After parking the carriage in the reach marker you can see a little red restricted zone around the carriage on the Mini-Map. Run away from this zone to avoid the explosion and to complete the memory.
