Archdragon Peak

The Serpent-men encountered in the Consumed King’s Garden were partly a hint towards the existence of the Archdragon Peak. Unsurprisingly, they show up in considerably greater numbers at the Peak

Large Serpent-man

Large Serpent-men are burlier, tougher Serpent-men; you can spot them from far away, and this gives you time to prepare. Even though they’re armed for melee combat, you need to be careful. They can throw their chains quite far, giving them medium range for some of their attacks.

Multiple blows are needed to kill each Large Serpent-man. Circle around them and get hits in while they recover from their slower attacks. If there are Serpent-men in the fight too, focus on them first to take out targets quickly and consolidate your problems.

Rock Lizard

There are Rock Lizards on a few hills and ledges. They’re uncommon targets. Block or dodge if they roll toward you, and never stand with your back to a ledge when a Rock Lizard is close by, or you risk a fatal fall.

Rock Lizards are a sort of petrified Crystal Lizard, and a repeatable source of both Twinkling Titanite and Titanite Scales!

Serpent-man Summoner

The sound of a chime periodically rings when you go into a room with a Serpent-man Summoner. When that happens, an Unkindled rises to come after you. These summoned enemies are worth their full Soul value, so you can farm them if you like. However, the battle won’t end until you kill the Serpent-man Summoner. A fast run takes you past the Unkindled as they’re forming. You usually get to kill the Serpent-man Summoner and then turn to take out the Unkindled.

Even if you wait, there will only be one Unkindled at a time. The Serpent-man Summoners just get themselves ready to call another one, but they won’t complete the spell until you finish your target (they’re polite).

The two Summoners here each summon a unique champion, one drops Ricard’s Rapier, the other the Drakeblood Greatsword.
