The rare Reaper weapons offer the best mix of reach and sweeping, area of effect swings. Appropriately, they are ideal for scything down weaker foes in groups.
Reapers take a decent level of both Str and Dex to use and are midweight weapons that can be tough to use in enclosed spaces, so they aren’t a great early-game choice, but as a mid or late-game tool, they can be useful as an alternate weapon to deal with certain areas and enemy combinations. Their Neck Swipe skill is a hard hitting and fairly low cost move, and you can dish out either Bleed or Frost status effects.
