Massive, heavy bows with demanding attribute requirements, Greatbows typically cannot be used until later in a playthrough.
They require specialized ammunition, and are slow to wield and fire. Best used as an alpha strike against distant foes, or for landing hits on truly massive targets while they are disengaged from you, Greatbows are a poor choice for general combat, but they can come in handy against certain big game targets.

Dragonslayer Greatbow
Greatbow used by the Dragonslayers during the age of gods. Far greater in size than any normal bow, and far more devastating.
The bow must be anchored to the ground when fired, a time-consuming operation that leaves the user vulnerable. Only specialized great arrows can be fired from the bow.

Masterfully fires off a great arrow that pierces through all enemies in its path, inflicting damage.
