The Zombie Hordes

The zombies begin attacking in small numbers and moving slowly, but that doesn’t last long. They get tougher, faster, and more numerous as the Scene count increases.

Zombies come in three types.

Regular zombies are your standard-issue decaying, undead horror. They crawl through windows, emerge from holes, jump fences, and generally find their way into the park any way they can.

Normal zombies simply shamble or sprint toward you and attempt to apply a melee beatdown. Move swiftly and herd them into large packs where you can dismantle them with automatic weapons fire, explosives, personal traps, or park traps.

Exploding clowns are exactly what they sound like, and are, in fact, the worst—the very worst. On certain Scene rounds, they appear in large packs, rush you and your teammates, and detonate after a short pause, once they get close enough.

Exploding clowns are a bit weaker and easier to kill than normal zombies, and you can use the pause before they detonate to sprint and slide away from them, but you must be fast.

Brutes are large mutant zombies wearing alien masks. They can even project damaging beams of energy from their masks! Brutes are extremely tough, requiring heavy coordinated firepower directed at their heads to defeat them.

Dealing enough damage to their mask causes them to enrage, remove the mask, and charge at you swinging…which isn’t much of an improvement over blasting you from a distance with energy beams, but it gives you a chance to unload in their face and defeat them.

If possible, try to make use of park or placed traps to deal with the normal zombies while you handle the big ones when they appear.

Back Packs and Fanny Packs

Occasionally a downed zombie may drop a bit of loot. It can be tickets, cash, or a magazine for your equipped weapon.

Power-Ups

Enemies can also drop power-ups. These are one-shot items, and when picked up they take effect instantly.

Carpenter repairs all windows, boarding them up fully.

Nuke instantly kills all normal nearby zombies in a fiery explosion.

Max Ammo is an important power-up, giving your team full ammo for equipped weapons. This is the only way to restore the ammo for special weapons (such as those acquired via the Magic Wheel or other methods).

Firesale gives a discount on your next purchased item. You can use this to pick up an expensive wall buy weapon on the cheap.

Infinite Ammo gives you unlimited ammo for your weapons for the rest of the round.

Instant Kill causes your weapon to kill zombies in a single shot.
