Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare eGuide Single-Player The Armory

Handguns

In general, handguns are the weakest weapons you can equip in your loadout. They are useful in situations where you have no other weapon. So why would anyone want a handgun? Handguns provide the highest level of mobility available in the game. If you are caught reloading your weapon, you can switch to your handgun extremely quickly and unload on the opponent before they can kill you. This makes it a great weapon for players that like “run and gun” tactics and aren’t worried about their primary weapon running out of ammunition.

If you get caught in a situation where you need to sprint into cover, it’s always a good idea to switch to a handgun before making the attempt. You will move more quickly.

Always keep your handgun loaded before switching to your primary weapon.

Scopes

All handguns have access to the following scopes:

  • Reflex
  • Trojan
  • ELO

Oni

Full auto energy pistol. Features a harmonic microcontroller that accelerates fire rate over time.

Accuracy 62
Damage 40
Range 60
Fire Rate 70
Mobility 80
Unique Attachment: Energy Boost

Reduced fall-off damage at the cost of a slower fire rate. (Fall-off damage means the weapon doesn’t lose damage as the round travels over a distance).

Strategy

The Oni doesn’t perform as you would typically expect of a handgun. Its accuracy and fire rate are more akin to a SMG. You get the added benefit of the excellent speed and agility bonus you get while wielding a handgun. However, the damage is very low (the lowest of the pistols), so you will need copious amounts of ammo to take down an enemy (sometimes a full clip).

Kendall 44

Semi-auto ballistic pistol. Allows ultra-fast trigger cycling in a lightweight mold for increased hipfire control.

Accuracy 20
Damage 44
Range 56
Fire Rate 88
Mobility 80
Unique Attachment: Full Auto

Converts weapon into a full auto variant.

Strategy

The Kendall 44 is the UNSA standard issue sidearm. Unlike the Oni, it performs exactly as you would expect it to. The lightweight mold feature makes it easier to quickly fire and hit enemies without losing mobility, via Aim Down Sight. The Kendall 44 has low damage, and it will take several rounds to down a tango.

EMC

Semi-auto energy pistol. Reliably delivers consistent stopping power.

Accuracy 70
Damage 64
Range 64
Fire Rate 48
Mobility 80
Unique Attachment: Spread Shot

Modify the EMC to fire a spread-shot blast of energy.

Accuracy -3
Damage +15
Range -10

Strategy

EMC is the SDF counterpart to the KB45. Since it’s an Energy weapon, it’s better against drones, and has respectable damage, even comparable to larger weapons like the SMGs and assault rifles.
