Handgun Pros
- Extremely fast handling
- Effective at short range
Handgun Cons
- Poor at a distance
- Limited ammunition
Trusted Sidearms
Handguns are secondary weapons that fill the role of a close-quarters backup weapon.
Handguns are optional parts of your loadout. You don’t have to take a sidearm or any other secondary, but alongside LMGs, snipers, and some ARs, they can be extremely useful.
Handguns have quick swap times and deal competitive damage up close. They aren’t a great matchup for a shotgun, and they aren’t going to reliably beat every SMG, but they absolutely give you a fighting chance against other CQC setups, and can dominate long-range weapons.
Handgun Notes
- The EMC and LH44 are semi-auto pistols that rely on your trigger finger to drop enemies at close range. They can be fired more slowly for more accurate distance shots.
- The Hailstorm is a three-round burst handgun, capable of downing targets extremely quickly if you land all shots on target.
- The Oni is an unusual full auto sidearm, a pocket machine pistol. The quirk comes from its method of fire. While it is full auto, it fires more quickly over time, so its kill speed increases as you drain the magazine.
- The G18 is a classic weapon that has an absurd rate of fire, and equally absurd recoil. It works great as a close-range terminator, but don’t expect to hit enemies effectively at any distance outside short range.

LH44
Semi-auto Ballistic pistol. Allows ultra-fast trigger cycling in a lightweight mold for increased hipfire control.
Classic G18
Full auto Ballistic pistol. Delivers the highest fire rate and recoil across all weapon classes.
