Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare eGuide Single-Player The Armory

Sniper Rifles

Sniper rifles are one of the most popular types of weapons in Call of Duty games, with good reason! Snipers allow you to pick off enemies safely from cover, and are vital to completing several missions on the Veteran difficulty. While you can often use Aim Down Sight on an assault rifle to score an ultra-long range hit, using a weapon designed for that type of combat—the Sniper Rifle—makes the job much easier.

In short-range combat, you are better off using melee than trying to hit an enemy with your sniper rifle unscoped. For this reason, shotguns and SMGs are the best alternate weapons to use when your primary slot is filled with a sniper. Whenever quickly changing positions or advancing on a battlefield, always switch to your secondary.

Scopes

All sniper rifles have access to the following scopes:

  • Scout Hybrid
  • Thermal
  • ELO
  • Variable Zoom
  • Tracking Chip

EBR-800

Semi-auto energy rifle. Hold Switch Weapons to activate Assault Rifle Mode for automatic fire and reduced power consumption.

Accuracy 87
Damage 78
Range 88
Fire Rate 45
Mobility 70
Unique Attachment: Burst-Snipe

After a small charge-up, the ERB-800 shoots three rapid-fire blasts.

Strategy

If a SCAR were stuck on an island filled with SDF terrorists and only one weapon, they would always pick the EBR-800. The EBR is both a fantastic sniper rifle and assault rifle, which makes it an effective weapon in all combat situations. The Burst-Snipe is an interesting mod, compensating for the lower damage of the EBR by rapid-firing three shots, instead of one.

KBS Lonbow

Unique Attachment: Stasis

Increases the amount of ammo the Longbow carries and heavily reduces sway while scoped in.

The Longbow has the distinction of being the most powerful non-heavy weapon in the game. It is one of the few weapons to provide automatic one-shot kills. Throwing the Suppressor on can reduce its damage output, but it’s still the best choice for sniper-focused missions. Unlike the EBR, it’s worthless in medium- and short-range combat. Always equip a solid secondary medium-range SMG when utilizing this rifle.
