Precinct feels like a classic Call of Duty map, set in a downtown city environment, with combat flowing in and out of buildings.

Precinct has a lot of sharp corners, and many semi-isolated hotspot engagement areas. Depending on the mode, you can expect firefights to flare up in almost every part of the level, so get to know the lines of sight and routes in and out of each area.

The central route through the buildings in the middle of the map has almost no cover and no place to hide from enemies, so bring a CQC loadout or avoid passing through it entirely.

There are a number of rooftops and raised halls through some of the ruined buildings around the outskirts. Watch for enemies in elevated positions when moving around the outer loop of the map.

Scorestreaks can be frustrating for newer players. If you have a lot of trouble earning mid to high end streaks, try out the Persistence Rig trait, and make use of the Drone Package streak. As you improve, look at the mid-range streaks, and once you feel really comfortable, make a specific, focused effort to earn high-end streaks.

It’s important to remember that simply running UAV and CUAV can be one of the strongest loadouts to support your team and increase your chances of winning. This is true almost regardless of how skilled you are. If you’re a great aggressive player, looping informational streaks repeatedly throughout a match gives your team a decided advantage. It’s even possible to use them as traps on offense; call in a UAV near the enemy spawn, then rush their spawn while a few freshly spawned players are staring at the sky with a launcher equipped.

In objective modes, offensive streaks can win games if timed carefully. Use them to clear objective areas before pushing them, or to provide cover for a push or defense. Always keep a loadout with Blind Eye and an FMJ or Ram Servo equipped LMG and a launcher around. If you’re playing solo or with a small group and the enemy team starts calling in the heavy firepower, you need to take it down yourself.

As a general rule, it’s easier to earn expensive streaks playing more defensively and passively. It’s absolutely possible to earn them while rushing and playing aggressively, it’s just harder. Regardless of where your personal skill level is, just remember to use streaks that fit that skill level. Consistently earning streaks (any streaks!) is far better than having three streaks slotted that you rarely earn.
