New Modes

Reinforce

Capture points to revive fallen teammates. Taking all points will win the round.

Reinforce is a new limited-respawn mode. Essentially Domination with limited respawns, Reinforce challenges you to capture the control points on the map to win, or eliminate the enemy team.

If you secure a point, you can revive fallen teammates, so like Search & Rescue, dying once during a round is not necessarily the end.

Capturing two of the three points starts a countdown timer to the win, and capturing all three wins the round instantly.

Naturally, capturing points in a limited respawn mode is extremely dangerous. Bring your Smoke Grenades, Trophy Systems, Blast Shield, Tac Resist, and other defensive loadout options to protect yourself and your teammates when going for the capture.

Likewise, bringing an explosive suite with grenades and launchers to flush out enemies going for the capture can be effective.

Stealthy setups that allow you to sneak through and flank the other team are effective, but don’t rely on them to score a cap unless the whole enemy team is out of position and you’re going for their rear point.

Defender

Capture the drone and hold it to earn points for your team.

Defender is a game of kill the king, with whatever player picks up the drone becoming the target for the entire enemy team.

Holding the drone earns score for your team, and holding it long enough wins the round.

This mode requires fast and aggressive play. You need to secure the drone as quickly as possible and hold it as long as possible, so mobile builds are quite valuable.

You can still use long-range or supportive setups effectively to lock down a lane or provide covering fire for teammates going for the drone, but too many passive players on a team is not a recipe for success in this game mode.

Be careful about throwing yourself at the drone if you know it is in a defended position with multiple enemies nearby. You may want to wait for backup in that situation, rather than rushing in alone and feeding the other team’s scorestreaks.

If you are carrying the drone, remember you can toss it to a teammate. Sometimes a sacrificial run to pick it up and clear the drone by throwing it can be effective if the drone is being heavily covered.

Smoke Grenades are quite useful for picking up the drone, and stealth and speed Rig powers such as Invis and Overdrive can be useful for securing or escaping with the drone.
