Integrated IFF system that guides pellets to target while aiming down sights.
The most unusual sight in the game, the Smart Shot sight provides target tracking and pellet lock-on for your shotgun.
While ADS at a target with the Smart Shot equipped, dots representing each of the pellets from your shotgun track and then lock on to the target.
If you fire when all of the dots are locked on, your pellets are guaranteed to hit.
Note that this does not guarantee a kill. If you are outside the lethal range for your weapon, the pellets will hit, but they won’t deal enough damage to score the kill.
You can use this sight to absolutely guarantee a killshot if you sneak up on an unsuspecting target, or land a full damage blast against a jumping enemy that you are tracking, but be wary of using it to lock on to an enemy who is actively engaged with you. The time it takes to lock can easily get you killed.
