Snap Shot came from a long line of Crocagators that lived in the remote Swamplands, where he hunted chompies for sport. After rounding up every evil critter in his homeland, Snap Shot ventured out into the world to learn new techniques that he could use to track down more challenging monsters. He journeyed far and wide, perfecting his archery skills with the Elves and his hunting skills with the wolves. Soon he was the most revered monster hunter in Skylands—a reputation that caught the attention of Master Eon. It then wasn’t long before Snap Shot became the leader of the Trap Masters, a fearless team of Skylanders that mastered legendary weapons made of pure Traptanium. It was this elite team that tracked down and captured the most notorious villains Skylands had ever known!
Basic Attack Notes
Traptanium Arrow
When upgraded to Sure Shot Croc it gains a charge ability that allows arrows to pass through enemies.
Crystal Slam
Performs a downward slam while in the air and can be upgraded with a charge ability to do nearly twice the damage.
Torrential Tidepool
A controllable water attack that continues to hurt enemies it touches, but Snap Shot can’t move while it’s used.
Upgrade Paths
Crackshot Croc
Each additional power further enhances Snap Shot’s Traptanium Arrows making him one of the most effective Skylanders at long-range. Arrowsplosion is a great upgrade for normal arrows due to its explosive effect that hurts surrounding foes. Traptanium Flechette also increases basic arrow attacks with splintered shards that cover even more area instead of adding a lot of damage. Hydro Arrow is an incredible attack that has a short charge time. If you immediately charge after letting an arrow lose it is almost possible to continually shoot these Water-Element infused arrows for big damage.
Tide Turner
The additional damage and size from Big Wave Torrent is a significant enhancement and should be the first priority. What’s Kraken? uses a fearsome sea creature to do extra damage and it extremely cool to behold. Water Trap provides the added effect of trapping enemies so they continue to suffer the damage boosts from the other two upgrades. After acquiring all of these upgrades Torrential Tidepool becomes a lot more powerful and can dominate enemies at mid-range. However, Snap Shot is unable to move while performing this attack so don’t let enemies surrounded him or extend the attacks so far it can’t protect him.
Soul Gem Ability
A Shard Act to Follow: 4000
Crystal Slam in the air creates a new Traptanium attack. Prerequisite: Find Snap Shot’s Soul Gem in CH4: Phoenix Psanctuary
A jumping attack from Crystal Slam hits enemies in melee range but it also sends a series of Traptanium crystals straight ahead to damage any enemies in its path. This ability provides some extended range for Crystal Slam and is best utilized when a group of enemies is closing in on Snap Shot.
