For many years, Tuff Luck and her tribe guarded the Fortunata Springs—the source of all good luck in Skylands. Though it was hidden in the Random Canyons, which move without warning to cover the hidden entrance to the magical waters, minions of Kaos located the springs and flew in sponge-tankers to drain every drop of the lucky liquid. Fortunately, Tuff Luck was patrolling the area and immediately jumped into action when she saw what was happening. Between her awesome skill and unbeatable good luck, she single-handedly drove off the minions. She then drank from the magical waters, as was custom for her tribe. Sensing a greater calling, Tuff Luck decided to leave her tribe to join the Trap Team, where she could do even more to help protect Skylands. Armed with her Traptanium Warblades, she always beats the odds—and evil—at every turn!

Basic Attack Notes

Traptanium Warblades

A slicing attack that can be used three times in a combo and gains an energy wave ability from Glaive Wave.

Pounce Mode

Become invisible in Pounce Mode then leap out to attack, plus the Clover Patches do damage.

Warblade Stab

A leaping attack that can be upgraded to control where Warblade Stab lands.

Upgrade Paths

Pouncy Pouncer

Clover Patches become a lot more effective on this path. Poison Ivy adds more damage to the green patches and can be used as a trap or simply to re-enter Pounce Mode. On the other hand, using 4-Leafed Clover allows the clover to heal Tuff Luck when entering Pounce Mode. To further reinforce the effectiveness of Pounce Mode, Powerful Pounce adds extra damage when springing out to attack. The plan on this path is to keep using Pounce Mode to create clover patches to take advantage of its abilities. However, don’t ignore the Warblade Stab that is her most damaging attack and can be launched from Pounce Mode as well.

Warblade Whacker

Waive Goodbye is a straightforward increase to the Traptanium Warbaldes, adding some needed damage to the already extended range this attack has. The other two upgrades are devastating combos made to take advantage of that damage boost. Lucky Spin ends with a whirling attack that links right into Pounce Mode. Hoping into the clover is a great way to escape after this combo or set up a surprise attack. When enemies are closer together use the Wingin’ Warblade combo to deliver a powerful Warblade Stab at the end. This combo is also a great choice to use on very tough single enemies.

Soul Gem Ability

Garden of Pain: 4000

Hold Attack 3 and press Attack 1 to grow spiky blades of grass that do massive damage. Prerequisite: Find Tuff Luck’s Soul Gem in CH 16: The Golden Desert.

Garden of Pain is a powerful attack with a good area of effect to deal with any enemies in the immediate area. The best part is that move doesn’t require any charge time and can be pulled off quickly to deal with bad guys that are trying to overwhelm you.
