Chapter 10: Secret Sewers of Supreme Stink

Goober’s Trail & Outer Sewage Segue

Break down the wooden fence and be ready for two hazards on the other side. First, the green goo flowing on the ground damages Skylanders who touch it. The other hazard is the pool of goo that becomes a Goo Chompy.

Use the Bomb to destroy the gate. Take out the Chompy guards. Go around the left side of the Outer Sewage Segue to find a Story Scroll.

Walk around the front of the building. The tunnel entrance on the same level as the Story Scroll is Flam Bam’s Retreat. Jump over the side of the ledge in front of the tunnel entrance to reach an identical entrance below, one that leads to Effluent Deck.

Effluent Deck & Flam Bam’s Retreat

To get the Treasure Chest in Effluent Deck, you must use the Bomb from Goober’s Trail. If you have trouble getting to the gate in time, use a Skylander with a dashing or flying ability.

Flam Bam is a dragon with a quest for Chomp Chest. Destroy the nearby Traptanium crystal to reveal a Bounce Pad. Bounce up and step outside for Echo’s Soul Gem (Call of the Siren).

The path beyond Flam Bam’s Retreat is blocked by cascading goo falling from above. Step on the round platform on the lower ledge and walk in the direction of the arrows to shut off the flow of goo.

The last obstacle to entering the sewers is a Lock Puzzle. Go right to hit the water drop. Go left, down, left, and down to get past the first stage. Go left, up, left, down, right, down, left, down, up, right, up, left, down, right, down, right, and up to collect the coins. Go left, down, right, down, and left to pass the second stage. Go left, right, up, right, up, right, right, down, and down to get the coin. Go up and left to clear the Lock Puzzle. The Grit Chamber is on the other side of the door.

Grit Chamber & Runoff Falls

After an awkward introduction to the locals, go left to explore Runoff Falls. Collect the valuables here, and ride the jet of steam to get the coins floating above it.

You need to cross the channels of goo next. Use the barge floating in the goo to reach the platform in the middle of the goo. When the large barges appear, hop on one and ride it to Backflow Alley.

Backflow Alley

Backflow Alley has a Troll Radio and a skeleton looking for help.

Use the floating barges to get back to the Grit Chamber, or jump from the bridge that spans the goo channel (you need to hop over a pipe to get across the bridge). Eliminate the Evilikin cannons to start the flow of barges on the second channel of goo.

Use each switch near the laser puzzle one time to open the large tunnel that serves as the entrance to Flow Drain Dropoff. Don’t go that way just yet. Smash the wooden fence and ascend the ramp to The Storm Drain.

The Storm Drain

Goo flows from the open pipes intermittently, so wait for a gap in the goo and hurry past. Use the steam vents to get more coins. Go down to the end of the area for a Villain Stash.

Flow Drain Dropoff

Avoid the goo spraying from the floor. Jump over the edge and guide your Skylander into the floating valuables. The ride ends in the Spoiled Sanctum.

Spoiled Sanctum

A Battle Gate blocks progress and you must deal with waves of Chompies and Evilikin forces that include cannons and a Scrap Shooter. Cross both rows of floating barges on the other side of the Battle Gate, then go to the left and ride the steam up to Persephone.

Head back to the right until Rage Mage introduces himself. Continue past the pipes (watch out for goo!) until you see a bamboo bridge. Re-use the bamboo a few times until you come to a metal bridge. Pick up the metal bridge and use it to reach the Winged Sapphire. Return the metal bridge to its original location. Cross the bridge and use the nearby Bounce Pad to reach Drainage Vista.

Drainage Vista & Catwalk Cubby

Ignore the laser puzzle for now. Go to the corner and walk down the catwalk to a Treasure Chest. Go back to the laser puzzle and use the switches farthest from the block one time each. Use the switch nearest the block twice to reveal a Super Bounce Pad. Use it to reach Drainage Central.

Drainage Central

The Rage Mage appears again, but then hides behind a Battle Gate while Evilikins and Chompies attack. Destroy the logs from under the Evilikin cannons to bring them into range.

The Battle Gate remains up until a final wave of Shield Shredders appears and is eliminated. Jump on the giant gear and walk in the same direction as the arrows on top of it. Jump down to the Fire Gate below.

The two large pipes below the Fire Gate lead to two different spots in the same area (Digestion Deck). Walk around the leftmost pipe for a Lock Puzzle-blocked Treasure Chest. To solve the puzzle, go left, down, right, left, up, left, up, right, down, up, left, down, right, up, right, down, and right to douse the Lock Master. Go left, up, right, up, right, down, left, down, left, up, right, left, and down to smash the last jars. Go up, right, down, and right to reach the exit.

Digestion Deck & Going Down

The rounded shapes on the ground spout goo, so wait for a break in the stream before walking over them. Flam Bam is in the area, and he’s a tough Skystones Smash player. The Legendary Eel Plunger floats near a pile of coins on the other side of two sets of goo spouts.

After your trip to Digestion Deck, jump down the large air shaft between the pipes. It’s a wild, coin-filled freefall that ends at Splash Station.

Splash Station & Barge Basin

If you made it this far without touching any goo, you get the No Goo For You! Achievement. Go to the left and move the pipe blocks to change the flow of water. The water hits High Five’s Soul Gem (Organic Slam Apples) and knocks it down to where your Skylander can reach it.

Go to the right and repeat the process with the pipe blocks there. Push them into place to restore the flow of water. The water level rises, allowing the barges in Barge Basin to float. Jump between barges and head for the Water Gate. Come back to the building on the right afterward.

Prove You Are a Skylander Arena Battle

Go to the last building where the inhabitants of the sewers demand proof that you are a Skylander. The proof they want comes in the form of an Arena Battle.

Stage 1 has Evilikins and Chompies. It’s a straightforward fight with no additional complications. Stage 2 is where things become interesting. A Rage Mage joins the fight. Take him down quickly for an extra reward. He’ll escape if he’s left alone too long. Watch out for the eye stalk that appears. It heralds the appearance of a trail of green slime. It’s wide and difficult to jump over. Touching it doesn’t do much damage, but it slows down your Skylander (and enemies if they get too close).

Stage 3 is more of the same, but multiple slime trails are possible. The fight becomes more challenging when Fisticuffs joins.

Back at Skylander Academy

Everything new is in the Main Hall. Brock has a new Arena for the Rumble Challenges. Go to the area past the Hat Shop entrance to put the Legendary Eel Plunger in its proper place. Finally, there’s a new Skaletone challenger. It’s Mags!
