Fryno was once a member of the notorious Blazing Biker Brigade and spent most of his youth riding around Skylands with the rest of his crew. But what Fryno did not realize was that, while he enjoyed a life of freedom and adventure, his crew was responsible for acts of burglary throughout Skylands. When Fryno discovered that he had been riding around with a bunch of villains, he burned with rage and demanded that they make amends for the wrong they had done. This resulted in an epic fight, which Fryno won, and the disbanding of the Blazing Biker Brigade. Fryno was in the midst of returning the valuables his crew had stolen when he met Master Eon, who was impressed with his good character and fighting abilities, and offered him a membership to a new crew—the Skylanders.
Basic Attack Notes
Brawl
Rapid punches that propel Fryno forward unless he’s hitting something.
Heated
Keep Heated whenever possible. Don’t go into fights without building Heat first.
The Horn and The Hog
Good for closing distance quickly, especially when his motorcycle is involved.
Upgrade Paths
Brawler
The Brawler Path punishes enemies limited to melee attacks. Remember to stay Heated as often as possible. The more Heated Fryno is, the more swings he gets from Hot Hands. Spiked Up increases the damage done, and Temperature Tantrum damages more enemies. The Brawler Path does not require much thinking. It only needs enough enemies to punch.
Hot Shop
Fryno’s Hot Shop Path is a big help when dealing with ranged opponents. The Horn and The Hog is the best way to reach ranged enemies quickly, and what’s faster than throwing a motorcycle at them? It’s the closest thing he has to a ranged attack. Once Fryno gets his Wow Pow! ability, you can choose to throw the motorcycle (by pressing Attack 3 to end the ride early) to blow it up where he’s Burning Rubber.
Soul Gem Ability
Madness Maxed: 4000
Press Attack 2 rapidly to make Fryno even more heated. So angry!
Madness Max builds Fryno’s heat from orange to yellow. Heated affects almost everything Fryno does. He rides his hog when heated, he does more damage when heated, and so on. Madness Maxed is a priority purchase. Get it as soon as you can!
Basic Attacks
Brawl
Press Attack 1 to punch nearby enemies. Speed and damage of punches is increased depending on heat.
Heated
Press Attack 2 repeatedly to smash the ground and increase heat level.
Upgrades
The Horn and The Hog: 500
Press Attack 3 to dash forward dealing damage to enemies in the way. When heated, Fryno jumps on a motorcycle to deal damage to nearby enemies.
Built Tough: 700
Health is increased. Probably from punching the ground so much…
Fired Up!: 900
Press Attack 2 repeatedly to throw a tantrum and become heated. Tantrums now have increased range and damage.
Motlen Fury: 1200
All attacks do increased damage when heated.
Brawler Path
Hot Hands: 1700
Hold Attack 1 to rapidly punch nearby enemies and release heat.
Spiked Up: 2200
New metal gloves cause Hot Hands to do increased damage. Prerequisite: Hot Hands
Temperature Tantrum: 3000
Nearby enemies take damage while Fryno is heated.
Hot Shop Path
Born to Ride: 1700
The Horn and The Hog will always summon a molten motorcycle.
Hot Rod: 2200
All attacks with the motorcycle do increased damage.
Crash and Burn: 3000
Fryno throws the motorcycle at the end of a dash, causing a massive explosion that damages nearby enemies. Who’s paying for that…?
Wow Pow!
Burning Rubber: 5000
While riding the motorcycle, hold Attack 2 to go into a power drift, blasting enemies with molten rocks
You must hold Attack 3 until Burning Rubber begins. Fryno spins in place, flinging burning rocks in every direction. The wheels of the motorcycle damage whatever they hit as well. Once Burning Rubber begins, there’s no way to cut it short.
