Character Stats

Maximum Health 430

Critical Hit 70
Elemental Power 35

Before the destruction of the Core of Light left him stranded in the Light Realm, Knight Light was the protector of the Starlight–the source of light, wisdom, and vast energy in Radiant City. But an evil villain known as Luminous wanted the Starlight for himself. Without warning, Luminous attacked, and the two took to the skies in an epic battle which lasted several days. In the end, Knight Light stood victorious and Luminous was imprisoned within Sunscraper Spire so that he could no longer pose a threat to Skylands. Now with his Traptanium Scimitar, Knight Light fights alongside the Trap Team to keep evil at bay!

Basic Attack Notes

Traptanium Scimitar

Combo attack can be done while jumping or flying (press the Jump button mid-jump to fly).

Prismatic Pounce

Knight Light (not enemies) must stand inside Light Auras created by Prismatic Pounce for extra damage.

Light Up

Delay explosion up to three seconds by holding Attack 3. Circle travels straight or you can guide it with control stick.

Upgrade Paths

Scimitar Slasher

Ascending Strike and Spinning Slash are great for dealing with large groups of enemies. The downside of Spinning Slash is that Knight Light can't move while charging it. Speed of Light is a big upgrade for a melee-focused Skylander like Knight Light. It allows him to cover ground quickly while also dishing out some damage in the process. It's worth every second you spend practicing the Light Up/Speed of Light combo.

Luminary of Light

Radiant Radius and Illumination Detonation are straightforward upgrades to Prismatic Pounce. If you choose the Luminary of Light Path, always have Light Auras active and keep enemies near them to get the damage boost from the explosions. Use Flash Dash to cover more ground quickly and safely. It's possible to press Attack 2 (the second time) at any point during the upward motion the screen momentarily.

Soul Gem Ability

Brilliant Blade: 4000

Traptanium Scimitar is upgraded to its ultimate form and does maximum damage.

Find Knight Light's Soul Gem in Sunscraper Spire.

Brilliant Blade increases both the size of Traptanium Scimitar and the damage inflicted by abilities that use it. As soon as you collect Knight Light's Soul Gem from Sunscraper Spire, start saving up the gold required to purchase it.

Basic Attacks

Traptanium Scimitar

Press Attack 1 to swing the Traptanium Scimitar. Press Attack 1, Attack 1, HOLD Attack 1 for a combo attack.

Prismatic Pounce

Press Attack 2 for a Scimitar slash attack and create a Light Aura, where Scimitar attacks do more damage.

Upgrades

Hallowed Ground: 500

Enemies in Light Auras move slower and do reduced damage.

Light Up: 700

Hold Attack 3 to create a circle of light, release to levitate and damage anything near the circle.

Lasting Light: 900

Light Auras last longer.

Scharper Scimitar: 1200

Traptanium Scimitar does more damage.

Improve Traptanium Scimitar attack

Scimitar Slasher

Ascending Strike: 1700

Traptanium Scimitar knocks enemies into the air.

Speed of Light: 2200

While holding Attack 3, press Attack 2 to teleport to the Light Up target and perform an upward strike.

Spinning Slash: 3000

Hold Attack 1 to charge up the Traptanium Scimitar and release for a 360-degree attack.

Luminary of Light

Improve Prismatic Pounce attacks

Radiant Radius: 1700

Prismatic Pounce hits a larger area and Light Auras are larger as well.

Illumination Detonation:2200

Light Auras explode before disappearing, damaging anything nearby.

Flash Dash: 3000

Press Attack 2, Attack 2 for a more powerful Prismatic Pounce attack and be invulnerable while flickering.
