Defend the Dreadyacht
The level begins with you in control of a flying ship armed with a cannon. Press Up on the D-Pad to invert the flight controls if you prefer. Shoot down the pirate ships attacking the Dreadyacht. Look for green heart icons to appear and fly through them if your ship takes too much damage.
Fly close to Flynn’s ship for boost. Use boost for a quick burst of speed. Looks for Mags next. Her ship carries rockets. Rockets track enemies and are more powerful than the cannon. Shoot down a total of 30 Air Pirates to clear the way for your landing. If you manage to shoot down 30 Air Pirates without using rockets, you earn the Achievement, Look Ma, No Rockets! Picking up rockets is fine, just don’t use them.
Landing Platforms & Stolen Property Room
Go down the ramp on the left to meet up with Tessa, who has a quest for Threatpack, near a broken turret and a Story Scroll.
Follow the ramp up, past the starting point, until you encounter a locked gate. The key, and a Troll Radio, are in the Stolen Property Room. Its entrance is near the locked gate. You need to take out a few pirates before you can grab the key and unlock the gate.
A Battle Gate blocks the path farther along the ramp. A new enemy, Bad Juju, appears here. Bad Juju is a wizard who summons whirlwinds that spin Skylanders in place. It doesn’t do any damage, but does make it difficult to aim properly. Hawkmongous appears next and you must defeat him in Skystone Smash to continue.
Lower Defenses, Lower Elevator & Digger’s Dungeon
Tessa flies past and asks for help with the pirates chasing her. Jump in the turret and blast the pirates out of the sky. There are two gems that appear as well. Shoot them for a bonus.
The gates behind the turret open. The ramp ends at a large gear. Jump on top of the gear and walk in the direction of the arrows. Stop partway up the hut for Digger’s Dungeon, which has a quest and a Villain Stash. Take the gear to the top to reach Middle Defenses.
Middle Defenses
A closed gate near a turret halts your progress. Before jumping into the turret, you must defeat a group of sky pirates! The turret sequence is similar to the previous ones, but this time there are three gems to hit while shooting down the pirate ships.
Hawkmongous appears on the other side of the gate, demanding a Skystones Smash rematch. After defeating him, nab the nearby Legendary Geode Key.
Upper Elevator
Hop on the gear and spin it upward. Jump over to the smaller gear. Spin it up high enough to reach the platform with Blastermind’s Soul Gem (Lock Puzzle Psychic) and the doorway to the Greenhouse.
Greenhouse
The Greenhouse has a Treasure Chest, Persephone, and a Life Gate. The Life Gate doesn’t lead to a new area, your Skylander remains in the Greenhouse.
Spin the larger gear halfway up, jump away from the smaller gear and look for a Water Gate. Spin the smaller gear to its highest point to reach Upper Defenses.
Upper Defenses & Lost and Found
Here you find another gate, more enemies to defeat, and another go with a turret. This time, Mags asks for help with the “blueberries” chasing her. The doorway on the opposite side of the platform of the turret is the entrance to Lost and Found.
Lost and Found has a Winged Sapphire and a Traptanium crystal. Destroy the crystal and break the floor to reveal a Treasure Chest.
Cutting Platform
Hawkmongous sends in waves of minions at first. Watch out for the large energy weapon in the back of the battle area. The crystals rise and glow when it is about to fire. After you clear out his pirates, Hawkmongous joins the battle as Tae Kwon Crow.
