Shroomboom was most unfortunate to have been born in a pizza topping garden belonging to Kaos. Growing up among his fellow fungi, he knew it was only a matter of time before a late night craving would bring about their demise. So Shroomboom took a twig and a strand of spider web and made a slingshot. One by one, he launched all of his friends over the garden fence before flinging himself over to join them. Then he guided them all to the edge of the island and leapt to freedom, using his mushroom cap to catch a friendly breeze. Now as a member of the Skylanders, Shroomboom continues to perform courageous deeds…but he can be hard to find on pizza night.

Basic Attack Notes

Slingshot

Lob attack that bounces around until contacting a target, or three seconds pass.

Mushroom Ring

Shroomboom can pass between mushrooms without destroying them, even with Self-Slingshot.

Launch Paratroopers

Hold Attack 3 to launch rapidly, but walk slowly.

Upgrade Paths

Barrier Boost

The Barrier Boost Path turns Mushroom Ring into a powerful defensive tool, and Shroomboom into a tough nut to crack. He can Launch Paratroopers or use Self-Slingshot without removing the barrier. When every upgrade is active, Shroomboom can remain safely behind a large ring of mushrooms that emit a damaging cloud, and even escape underground should the need arise.

Paramushroom Promotion

The Paramushroom Promotion Path boosts Launch Paratroopers and gives Slingshot an extra, explosive kick. Go with this path if you prefer to play Shroomboom on the move. You’re surrendering significant defensive upgrades, so be aggressive. You need to overwhelm enemies, so fill the area with Paratroopers and bouncing, exploding mushrooms.

Soul Gem Ability

Self-Slingshot: 4000

Hold Attack 1 to slingshot Shroomboom towards enemies.

The old command (press Attack 2 while holding Attack 1) brings up the Self-Slingshot quicker (and the mushrooms from High Spore!) if you’re in a rush. There’s no delay for firing Shroomboom, either. As soon as the slingshot appears, he’s ready to go.

Basic Attacks

Slingshot

Press Attack 1 to shoot exploding mushrooms.

Mushroom Ring

Press Attack 2 to spawn a ring of mushrooms that damage enemies.

Upgrades

Launch Paratroopers: 500

Press Attack 3 to shoot mushroom paratroopers who drop down from the sky.

Super Shrooms: 700

Bouncing Boomshrooms: 1200

Exploding mushrooms bounce on the ground and do increased damage.

Barrier Boost

Upgrades Mushroom Ring for better protection.

Spore Power: 1700

Mushroom Ring creates a damaging spore cloud.

Ultimate Ring: 2200

Mushroom Ring is the biggest it gets.

Back to the Beginning: 3000

Hold Attack 2 to remain underground, where you can move around freely.

Paramushroom Promotion

Provides more upgrades for the Paratrooper and Slingshot attacks.

Lock ’N’ Load: 1700

Can fire exploding mushrooms faster that do increased damage.

Fungal Infestation: 2200

Mushroom Paratroopers stick to enemies and do damage over time.

Paratrooper Invasion: 3000

Shoot three Mushroom Paratroopers at once.

Wow Pow!

High Spore!: 5000

Hold Attack 1 to create mushroom bumpers and play pinball with enemies. Prerequisite: Self-Slingshot

The mushroom bumpers appear close to Shroomboom’s location, so you need to lure enemies in close to use High Spore!. Blue mushrooms are good for two bounces, yellow mushrooms for one.
