Skylanders Trap Team Signature Series Strategy Guide › Characters › Earth

Terrabite

Terrabite

It’s Beatin’ Time!

Character Stats

Maximum Health  310
Speed  50
Armor  18
Critical Hit  30
Elemental Power  25

Basic Attack Notes

Punch

A fast and powerful attack that can be repeated in a combo and upgrades to hit multiple enemies.

Earth Swim

Terrabite burrows underground and is immune to harm. He can steer underground and emerge with a belly flop attack.

Feeding Frenzy

A long-range attack of mini-sharks that burrow and latch onto enemies, causing a small amount of damage over time.

Upgrade Paths

Sand Hog

Initially, Terrabite doesn’t get any extra speed from burrowing, but Master Earth Swimmer takes care of that. This allows him to sneak up on enemies and belly flop for high damage or quickly evade level hazards. Keep in mind that belly flop does a lot of damage but it has small range and Terrabite can’t move momentarily after the attack. Razorfin gives Earth Swim the ability to do a small amount of damage while burrowed and immune to damage. Another damage enhancement on this path is Homing Frenzy that adds increased damage for homing mini-sharks that can be performed above or underground.

Brawler

This path is mainly devoted to Punch but don’t mistake a lack of complexity for lack of effectiveness. Punch is deadly at close range, and comes out faster than attacks from most melee Skylanders. Also, his punches have a slight knockback effect that can temporarily stun enemies, interrupting their attacks. Terrabite’s Body Slam combo ends with a belly flop, shocking any enemies at close range. The Uppercut combo is great up-close on tough foes due to its nearly double damage uppercut. Frenzy Shield adds a passive retaliation attack that unleashes mini-sharks against anyone that damages him.

Soul Gem Ability

Surface Feeder: 4000

Collect power-ups while burrowed.

This is a nice little addition to Terrabite’s arsenal, but you can hold off buying it until other upgrades have been purchased. Surface Feeder gives Terrabite immunity from enemy attacks while he is underground collecting all types of power-ups, including food and gold.
