Disappear and leave behind a decoy. Upgrades to place a scarecrow in place of the decoy to distract enemies.

A quick acrobatic move performed as a tumbling leap.

Upgrade Paths

Pook Blade Saint

Whisper Elf’s Blade Slash melee attack is a powerful one. She attacks with blinding speed while moving in and out of range to avoid counterattacks. The Elf Jitsu upgrade adds two combos to the base attack. Poison Spores combo sprays enemies in front her with a poison cloud. Blade Flurry combo temporarily turns her into a blinding ball of blades, hitting her enemies even more rapidly. Shadowsbane Blade Dance is a very effective passive power. Whenever Whisper Elf attacks, the blades automatically attack her target as well. Additionally, the blades make her Arboreal Acrobatics deal a small amount of damage.

Forest Ninja

Stealthier Decoy can be confusing at first. Whisper Elf appears to keep running in place, but if you look closely, you can see her green eyes as you move her about. Stealthier Decoy has two benefits. First, once you upgrade it to leave Scarecrows, it creates major distractions for enemies. Second, Whisper Elf’s attack does increased damage when first leaving Stealthier Decoy. This path increases the number of Scarecrows, adds serious damaging effects, and makes them sturdier.

Soul Gem Ability

Sylvan Regeneration: 4000

Regenerate health over time.

Approximately every five seconds, Whisper Elf automatically regains five health. This isn’t huge health restoration, but every bit helps. If you’re low on health, try to find a quiet spot in the level and let your health build back up.

Basic Attacks

Blade Slash

Press Attack 1 to slice enemies up with a pair of sharp blades. Press Attack 1,Attack 1, HOLD Attack 1 to perform a special combo.

Stealthier Decoy

Press Attack 2 to disappear completely but leave behind a decoy image that enemies are drawn to.

Upgrades

Straw Pook Scarecrow: 500

A Scarecrow appears in place of your decoy and distracts enemies.

Dragonfang Dagger: 700

Blade attacks do increased damage.

Sturdy Scarecrow: 900

Scarecrows last longer and take more damage to destroy. Prerequisite: Straw Pook Scarecrow

Arboreal Acrobatics: 1200

Press Attack 3 to perform a quick acrobatic move. Hold Attack 3 and flip in any direction using the left control stick.

Pook Blade Saint Path

Further develop Whisper Elf’s blade attacks.

Elf Jitsu: 1700

Press Attack 1,Attack 1, HOLD Attack 2 for Poison Spores. Press Attack 1,Attack 1, HOLD Attack 3 for Blade Flurry.

Elven Sunblade: 2200

Blade attacks deal even MORE increased damage.

Shadowsbane Blade Dance: 3000

Magical Blades fight alongside you.

Forest Ninja Path

Further develop Whisper Elf’s Scarecrow skills.

Scare-crio Trio: 1700

Three Scarecrows are created in place of your decoy.

Scarecrow Booby Trap: 2200

Scarecrows explode and damage enemies.

Scarecrow Spin Slicer: 3000

Scarecrows have axes and do extra damage.
