Grand Approach
Destroy the Da Pinchy Statue. Destroy five total Da Pinchy statues to earn the achievement, Da Pinchy Defacer. Eliminate the nearby Traptanium crystal to gain access to a moving platform.
Ride the platform along the wires to reach a floating island. The island has Rocky Roll’s Soul Gem (Boulder Posse) and three Da Pinchy Statues. Return to your starting point and walk over the edge to Father’s Cog’s Patio.
Father Cog’s Patio & Cog Family Fortune
Eliminate the Buzzer Beaks, then step through the doorway. The Cog family fortune hangs from the gears in the room. Collect all the necklaces within reach. Step on the glowing button in the middle of the house to turn the gears and move the necklaces to where your Skylander can get them. You need to move the gears a few times to collect everything. Playing Co-op in this area makes it much easier to collect the necklaces.
Pendulum Bob’s House, Moon Gear Rise & Musical Terrace
Head back to the Grand Approach and look for Da Pinchy. Before you move the gear blocks, investigate the building on the far left. The Mabu inside, Hans, wants to play Skystones Smash.
Return to Da Pinchy and push the gear blocks into place. Go to the red gear on the right for the Story Scroll. Use the gear with two Bounce Pads to reach the red gear on the left. The platform below that red gear is the Musical Terrace, which has a Treasure Chest.
Use the Bounce Pad near the Treasure Chest to return to Moon Gear Rise. Bounce up to the highest green gear and step up to the platform with blue planks. Wait for the mural that flips into place to go away, then hurry along the path to Chime Hammer Square.
Chime Hammer Square
Save Da Pinchy from the avian assault of Buzzer Beaks and a Cross Crow. Cross Crow fires nasty bolts from a crossbow. Avoid the missiles and take down Cross Crow while it reloads. Walk away from Da Pinchy after rescuing him. Drop off the wooden ledge for a quest.
Wayward Cog Storage
Step through the ruined diorama to reach Wayward Cog Storage. Destroy everything inside and open the hat box for SkylandersBobby.
Use the Bounce Pad to return to Da Pinchy, who explains Steam Locks. Smash the steam tubes to break the lock. Should you miss-time a swing on a lock, it resets (just the current lock, not the entire puzzle).
The area beyond the Steam Lock is infested with feathered fiends. Defeat them to clear the Battle Gate from a button. Step on the button to pull up wooden steps. Watch for a skeleton diorama off the right side of the blocks.
Backstage & Main Spring Fly
Hop down and tag in Dr. Krankcase. The doorway he reveals leads Backstage. Ride the platform attached to the rotating central shaft to the Villain Stash. Use the Bounce Pad outside to reach the top of the building and a Super Bounce Pad. Go past the purple pad and cross the undulating line of blocks to Thunderbolt’s Soul Gem (Lightning Rain). Return to the Super Bounce Pad and go for a ride.
Speak with Florg, then look for Tessa nearby. She has a quest for Cross Crow.
Jump up to the conveyor belt near Florg, and immediately hop on the platform next to it. Stand on the button to summon a row of blocks that leads up to a Winged Sapphire. Use the Teleport Pad to return to the conveyor. Avoid the spring-loaded wall, then step on through to Sunny Side Narrows.
Sunny Side Narrows & Clockwork Innards
Move against the conveyor (flying Skylanders have an easier time with this) to reach a platform with a Troll Radio. There’s another platform directly below the radio. Persephone is there, as is a Teleport Pad to return to the top. You could also use the rotating platform to move between levels.
Return to the conveyor and ride it until it ends. Deal with the enemies that appear, then drop down one level lower. Step on the button to rotate the nearby gear. Use the Bounce Pad to return to the higher level and walk on the green gear in the direction indicated by the arrows. Jump off the green gear and fall into the hole it left after being raised.
Clockwork Innards has a Treasure Chest behind a Battle Gate, and a group of crow-like enemies that you must clear out before you can get it. To reach the enemies on the higher levels more quickly, walk on the gear in the direction of the arrows. After you get the Treasure Chest, take the gear to its highest point and return to Sunny Side Narrows.
Spin the large, green gear to the top again and ride the conveyor on the other side of the spring-loaded flower design. The conveyor leads to a Steam Lock and an Earth Gate. Use the Super Bounce Pad beyond the Steam Lock to reach Clockwork Courtyard.
Clockwork Courtyard
Clockwork Courtyard has two Battle Gates. You must defeat waves of enemies to drop the first gate, and another to open the second. There are two points of interest in the area. The first is the diorama not far from where the Super Bounce Pad deposited your Skylander. Tag in Dr. Krankcase to open the way to Retired Clock Storage. The building beyond the first Battle Gate is Cogsworth’s Bed and Brunch.
Cogsworth’s Bed and Brunch & Retired Clock Storage
Explore both rooms, destroy everything you can, and loot all the valuables. Go back to Clockwork Courtyard after collecting everything.
Push the gear blocks into place on the right side of the courtyard, which starts up a rotating platform. The platform on the left has a Troll Radio. The right side platform has a Steam Lock. Solve the puzzle to start a battle against Cross Crow and some of his allies. Defeat the enemies that appear after trapping Cross Crow to remove the Battle Gate and reveal a Treasure Chest. The topmost platform is a one-way trip to Tower Approach.
Tower Approach
Clear out the enemies to open the Battle Gate. Destroy the Traptanium crystal and ride the platform over the wires to a platform with the Legendary Clocktower. Return to Da Pinchy and solve the Steam Lock.
Owl Clock Gallery
The newly-opened building is the Owl Clock Gallery. Step on the flashing button to move the stairs. Ascend the stairs and stand on the flashing button there. Repeat the process again to rescue Kaos.
Back at Skylander Academy
Visit Persephone’s Treehouse, where you can place the Legendary Clocktower. Check in with the Skaletones to learn about their newest member. Boom! When you’re ready to go after Wolfgang, speak with Da Pinchy.
