Basic Attack Notes

Tail Swipe

A powerful 360-degree tail attack that can also deflect incoming projectiles.

Rock and Roll

A charging attack that is somewhat slow but it does a lot of damage.

Summoning: Stone Projection

A wall attack that can be hit with a Tail Swipe to launch rocks as a long-range attack.

Upgrade Paths

Granite Dragon

Bop’s mace tail is his strongest feature and is powerful before any upgrades. Choosing this path further upgrades Tail Swipe to massive damage. Gaia Hammer is one of the highest-damage attacks in the game. It can dish out nearly 1000 damage! The charge takes a moment, but against bosses, it should be your primary attack. Summoning: Stone Uppercut increases the damage of Stone Projection for long range attacks but the Tail Swipe is all you really need.

Pulver Dragon

For a dash-type attack, Rock and Roll dishes out serious damage. While it’s not as fast as other dash attacks, the extra damage more than makes up for it. After buying all the upgrades on this path, Rock and Roll becomes a dash-type attack that does more damage than the base Tail Swipe. The upgrades on this path give Rock and Roll excellent range, superior damage, and the ability to roll right through enemies.

Soul Gem Ability

Triceratops Honor Guard: 4000

New armor makes you harder to hit.

One of Bop’s weaknesses is his low armor rating. When you purchase this ability, Bop’s base armor stat increases four fold! That’s a huge improvement and lets him hang in tough close-range combat situations for a lot longer.
