As an orphan from the Dizzying Dunes, Tread Head had always dreamed of racing. And after a summer of scavenging for parts, he finally managed to build a bike that would allow him to enter the local racing circuit. The other competitors laughed at the crudeness of his work, but Tread Head had built it for performance, not for style. So when the race began, he jumped out to a commanding lead. But as he entered a canyon, he suddenly found himself at a roadblock—of Goblin troops! Knowing the other racers were in danger, he pulled off the road and kicked up so much dust that the Goblins had no choice but to flee, allowing the other racers to pass safely. Tread Head may have lost the race that day, but he earned the respect of Master Eon, who would see to it that Tread Head would tread on evil wherever he goes!
Basic Attack Notes

Upgrade Paths
Drag Racer
Tread Head is one of the most straightforward Skylanders to play. Simply hold down the attack button to perform a Wheelie and charge through enemies. Spike a Wheelie should be the first choice to add extra damage. This makes the Wheelie one of the most powerful charging attacks in the game. The other two upgrades, Go Out With a Bang and Burning Rubber, add extra attacks during the last stage of a Wheelie but these aren’t easy to plan. Don’t confuse the simplicity of this Skylander to mean he is not very effective. He is both easy and fun to play; and the speed and power of his Wheelie is essentially a melee and ranged attack in one.
Pavement Peeler
Wheelie Mode receives an increased area of effect thanks to Spray It, Don’t Say It. This ability sprays dirt and rock during a tight turn to provide some mid-range damage. Spin Out! gets most of the attention on this path with upgrades that set the ground ablaze and slows enemies on contact. With these added effects Spin Out! becomes an even more effective melee attack. Wheelie is still a great ability to zip in and out of enemies. However, when space is limited or if you want to get close and personal, Spin Out! is the best choice due to its damage reduction and extra features on this path.
Soul Gem Ability
Rocket Boost: 4000
Once you hit maximum speed in Wheelie Mode, press Attack 3 to rocket boost off of a ramp. Prerequisite: Find Tread Head’s Soul Gem in CH 9: Mystic Mill
The Rocket Boost attack does a lot of damage, but what do you expect when Tread Head flies into the air and comes crashing down? This move can be difficult to use since it can only be done at maximum speed. If you learn to pick up the visual cue when Tread Head’s at top speed, this is a devastating attack.
