Growing up, Chopper was much smaller than the rest of his dinosaur kin. But this didn’t bother him because he had big ideas. Ahead of the annual hunting competition to honor the village idol, Roarke Tunga, Chopper spent weeks building himself a super Gyro-Dino-Exo-Suit. When the competition began, he took to the air—firing his missiles and chomping everything in his path. With Chopper on the verge of victory, the competition came to a sudden halt when the nearby volcano erupted, flooding the village with lava. Seeing the residents of his village trapped, Chopper quickly flew into action. One at a time, he airlifted everyone to safety. And was even able to save the village idol. For heroically using his head, Chopper was made a Skylander!
Basic Attack Notes
Raptor Rockets
A single rocket attack that can be upgrading to a homing missile. Can be performed while flying.
Chopper Blades
A charge attack that travels a decent distance and can be performed in air while flying.
Roar!
A powerful roar with short range that renders Chopper immobile. This attack can only be performed on the ground.
Upgrade Paths
Roar Like Never Before
Roar! starts out with a short range of attack and relatively low damage. Call of the Wild and King of the Jurassic Jungle will max out the attack giving it the range and damage it needs. Remember that Roar! can not be performed in the air and Raptor Rockets should be used in that case. Speaking of rockets, R.O.A.R Missiles charges the rockets to launch a pair of high damage projectiles, but these don’t home in and must be aimed. The upgraded Roar! is the best choice against groups of enemies as it hits all foes in a straight line, but use the Raptor Rockets when retreating.
Blaster From the Past
Chopper Blades get a maximum damage boost from Props to You but otherwise this path is all about rockets. More Missiles can charge up the rockets releasing two at a time but these travel in a straight line and don’t track enemies. Save the big rockets for tough single enemies or close groups of foes. Get Bigger the Boom first to create larger rockets for extra damage, then weaken foes at a distance with constant rocket fire. If enemies get too close use the upgraded Chopper Blades to cut through them and get to a safe distance to continue a barrage of rocket fire.
Soul Gem Ability
Ultimate Dino Destruction: 4000
Press Jump twice to enter Flight Mode, then press Attack 3 to release a rocket strike of epic proportions. Prerequisite: Find Chopper’s Soul Gem in CH 5: Chef Zeppelin
Surprisingly Flight Mode doesn’t add a lot of speed to Chopper’s movement. Yet, this barrage of rockets makes it worth flying around since they home in on enemies, allowing him to fire them off from a safe distance and guarantee they hit.
