Down for the Count!

Character Stats

Armor  12
Critical Hit  70
Elemental Power  25

Jawbreaker hailed from a race of robots that operated and maintained a vast underground complex of enormous machines that powered the legendary Sky Train, which traveled between a thousand different islands daily. Like many of his fellow robots, Jawbreaker led an ordered existence—full of rules and regulations—which he followed happily. However, one day a huge army of Gear Trolls invaded the subterranean complex. Known for being major train enthusiasts, they were set on taking over the Sky Train for their own evil use. Jawbreaker quickly jumped into action and used his massive fists to beat the trolls into retreat. His quick action and ability to think for himself made him an individual. For this he was made part of the Trap Team, where he now uses his Traptanium powered fists to deliver mighty blows to evil!

Basic Attack Notes

Traptanium Punch

Quick damaging jabs that can gain a shocking effect from Robo Rage Mode.

Robo Rage Mode

An empowering mode that lasts for a short time and grants increased speed, punching power, and more damage.

Spark Shock

The ground punch does damage up close and releases several electric sparks that shoot out in all directions.

Upgrade Paths

High Voltage

The upgrades on this path are focused on doing a lot of damage from shocking electric sparks. These blue projectiles are his only long-range attack and can be effective, especially in large numbers. Robo Rage Mode is Jawbreaker’s unique ability that boosts his speed and power. Sparking Interest further enhances this mode by constantly releasing sparks. Anytime Jawbreaker is in combat he should continue to active Robo Rage Mode! While in this mode Static Cling gives Spark Shot a spin attack and sticky sparks. To further fill the battlefield with sparks Hands Off! gives a passive retaliation that releases sparks whenever he is hit.

Out-RAGE-ous

Robo Rage Mode receives several upgrades on this path reinforcing how essential this mode is to Jawbreaker’s tactics. While in this mode he gets speed/power boosts, and thanks to Defense Firmware Update, he takes less damage as well. Punch for Power and Jolting Jab work together when in Robo Rage Mode. These allow him to stay in that mode longer while landing punches and enhances the attacks by creating static bursts that damage other enemies. The extra defense and punching offense should make it obvious to trigger Robo Rage Mode and charge into melee range punching enemies into submission.

Soul Gem Ability

Hold Attack 3 to charge up a powerful, electromagnetic punch. Prerequisite: Find Jawbreaker’s Soul Gem in CH 1: Soda Springs

To perform this attack enter Robo Rage Mode and continue holding Attack 3 for a short time to charge up a single power punch. Based on the short charge, it makes sense to use the Hypercharged Haymaker every time Jawbreaker goes into Robo Rage Mode.
