Pompous Point & Told You So Terrace
The bridge to the right leads to a Troll Radio and Mags, who has a quest for The Gulper. Cross back to Buzz and use the key from the higher ledge to open the locked gate.
There’s a Villain Stash to the left beyond the gate. Drop down into the pit with the Traptanium crystal and take out the Buzzer Beaks before you destroy the crystal. Destroying the crystal opens up the floor and begins a battle against Tussle Sprout.
With Tussle Sprout safely out of the way, open the Treasure Chest and use the Bounce Pads to bound up to the Knucklehead Buzz pointed out earlier.
Stuck-Up Steppes
Speak with the Knucklehead, then go back to the right for an Earth Gate. The Bounce Pad beyond the Knucklehead goes up to a ledge with a doubly locked gate.
Push the stacked stone blocks toward the ledge with a key and Persephone. If any Skylanders have enough gold for upgrades, you can buy them here. Push the single stone to build a bridge to the ledge with another Knucklehead and the second key.
Windbag Woods
The short bridge beyond the locked gate ends in a quick fight against a group of enemies that are primarily Buzzer Beaks. Defeating the enemies reveals Buzz and a Bomb. Use the Bomb to destroy the gate.
A tank appears and only another Bomb can harm it. Grab Buzz’s next Bomb and throw it at the tank. A small group of trolls supports the tank, but wait to take them out until after the tank is destroyed. A Story Scroll appears in the cave where the tank originated, and there is a Life Gate to the right.
Blobbers demonstrates how the steam vents work, but don’t follow him yet. Destroy the nearby Traptanium crystal to create a path to the Legendary Tribal Statue being guarded by Buzzer Beak and some friends.
Steam Vent Junction
Follow Blobbers up the steam jet to reach Steam Vent Junction. He points out a boulder on the left that you need to roll over the steam vent. Go to the right first. Gather up the loose coins and speak with the Knucklehead. Push the boulder over the steam vent and follow Blobbers up to the next ledge.
Boulder Falls Circle
Before meeting up with Blobbers, hop up the ledge on the left for a Winged Sapphire. There’s a Dark Gate on a lower ledge in the right side of the area. Blobbers is stuck again, needing another boulder to continue. Ride the steam vent up on the left. Take out the Chill Bill and Buzzer Beaks (hitting them with the boulder is effective) and push the boulder down to the area below and cap off the steam vent. Follow Blobbers up to the next area.
Patronizing Plateau
Check in with the Knucklehead and with Gumbus, who has a quest for Slobber Trap. Clear off the Bounce Pad near the bridge, then bounce up to Food Fight’s Soul Gem(That’s How I Roll).
Blobbers and Buzz appear on the other side of the bridge, next to a Battle Gate. Buzz explains how to use the nearby turret. Shoot down the flying Trolls to open the Battle Gate.
Embellesher’s Retreat
There’s a second Battle Gate across the bridge, with Slobber Trap waiting behind it. Before Slobber Trap joins the battle, you must take out the initial enemies and a few waves of airborne reinforcements. It’s possible to take out the wooden gunships before their cargo disembarks.
The Battle Gate drops and reveals another turret. Run back to complete Slobber Trap’s quest before meeting up with Buzz. Buzz asks you to shoot down more Troll ships, to drive them from the island. When that’s done, you return to Skylanders Academy.
Back at Skylanders Academy
Mags opens up new areas at Skylanders Academy. If your Portal Master Ranking increased, Eon appears and explains the special rewards you earn with each rank. The first gift box contains a gem worth 1000 gold.
If you picked up the Legendary Tribal Statue from Know-It-All Island, step to the right and interact with the question mark to place it on a floating island.
Use the mysterious gate platform to jump across to the red carpet. Run up to the carpet and interact with the switch on the wall to enter the Courtyard Tower. It’s a room filled with coins, and contains the Iris’ IrisTrinket.
The Main Hall is locked with a speical puzzle. Guide the Lock Master around the Lock Puzzle to open it. Send him up, down, up, and down to collect all the coins and open the lock. Most of the Main Hall is blocked off, but Auric has opened his store near the fireplace.
Interact with the switch next to the fireplace to enter the Grand Fireplace. It’s another coin-filled area to explore. In fact, you can return to both locations after each trip to a new Chapter of this adventure.
