The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D eGuide Walkthrough Chapter 8: Hookshot Heroics

Great Bay Coast (Fifth Visit)

Back to the Lab

With the Seahorses reunited and the last three Zora Eggs in your possession, whip out your fishbone guitar, and play the Song of Soaring to soar back to the Great Bay Coast. Enter the Marine Research Lab and climb onto the big aquarium again, then dump out the last three Zora Eggs into the tank.

The Babies’ Refrain

With all seven Zora Eggs reunited in the fish tank, the baby Zoras begin to hatch. Jump down and move to the front of the tank to witness this miracle of nature.

To the old scientist’s surprise, the Zora Eggs take on an unusual pattern. He’s never seen anything like this before!

It seems impossible, but the Zora babies have lined up in a pattern that forms the notes to a song. As Zora Link, whip out your fishbone guitar, and play the notes that the Zora babies have shown you.

Hearing the song played on Zora Link’s guitar delights the Zora babies. You’ve just learned a new song: the New Wave Bossa Nova.

Putting it all together, the scientist urges you to play this special song for the Zora that laid these eggs. He must mean Lulu, troubled lead singer of The Indigo-Go’s! The scientist is really excited, but there’s no need to rush back to Lulu immediately. Now that you’ve learned the New Wave Bossa Nova, you won’t ever forget it, even if you reset time.

Back to the Past

A puzzling new dungeon awaits, and it’s wise to give yourself as much time as possible to solve it. Again, you’ve got what you needed from hatching the Zora Eggs: the New Wave Bossa Nova. So have no fear: play the Song of Time to reset to the Dawn of the First Day, and be sure to save your progress. You probably don’t ever want to hunt for those Zora Eggs again!
