Saving your game is easy in Majora’s Mask 3D. Just find an owl statue (there’s one behind the Clock Tower in Clock Town) or a save statue, and then inspect it. You’ll then be prompted to save. Unlike the original N64 version of Majora’s Mask, using owl statues and save statues does not produce a temporary save. Instead, your game is permanently saved when you use an owl or save statue; the save is not lost when you load your game as it was in the original version. On the other hand, playing the Song of Time to rewind back to the Dawn of the First Day no longer saves your game as it did in the original version. Always be sure to save at an owl statue or save statue before you quit playing.
