The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D eGuide Walkthrough Chapter 5: Into the Mountains

Goron Village (Revisited)

No More Tears

After learning the Lullaby Intro, head east into Goron Village. Now that you’ve got the Goron Mask, you can open the Goron Shrine’s door yourself. Stand before the door and press to curl into a ball, then press to perform a Goron Pound. This is how Gorons knock! After the door opens, enter the shrine.

Time to stop that awful crying. Roll upstairs, and return to the throne room. As Goron Link, stand before the Elder’s weeping son, and whip out your ocarina. (Goron Link’s version is a set of drums.) Play the Lullaby Intro that the Goron Elder just taught you.

Though the song is incomplete, the young Goron recognizes the melody. He perks up and teaches you the next part. Follow his lead, and play the entire Goron Lullaby.

The Goron Lullaby works its magic, and the Elder’s son falls fast asleep. In fact, the lullaby works so well that the nearby Gorons in the throne room also curl up and start snoozing away. The Goron Lullaby sure works on Gorons!

How Enlightening

Playing the Goron Lullaby has not only soothed the Elder’s weeping son, but it has also caused the throne room’s torches to light up. Take off the Goron Mask, and smash the nearby jars to discover a Deku Stick or two. Pull out a Deku Stick and put on the Bunny Hood, then light your Deku Stick on one of the throne room’s torches.

After lighting your Deku Stick, race out of the throne room and light the two torches that are directly ahead, near the chandelier.

Next, hurry down the shrine’s winding ramp, lighting all of the torches as you go. Keep close to the outside wall, and you’ll light them all with ease.

After descending the ramp, light the two torches near the Goron Shrine’s entrance, then hurry and light the three torches on the ground floor near the shrine itself, which resembles a huge Goron head.

Light all of the Goron Shrine’s torches before any of them burn out, and the overhead chandelier will start spinning. It may take a few tries to light all of the torches within the allotted time, but don’t give up. (Smash the many jars around the Goron Shrine to discover more Deku Sticks if you need any.)

One Tough Treat

Once the chandelier is spinning, go back upstairs and put on the Goron Mask. Curl up and roll toward the chandelier so that you launch off the ramp near the torches. Aim to smash one of the chandelier’s jar-shaped torches as you sail through the air.

If you’re lucky, you’ll knock a big chunk of meat down from the chandelier. If you don’t find the meat after breaking the first jar, keep smashing the jars until you find it. It’s rock sirloin, a Goron delicacy! As Goron Link, pick up the meat and then head outside.
