Pieces of Heart — The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D eGuide

Extending Link’s life energy is a great idea, and Pieces of Heart help you do just that. Every four Pieces of Heart that you collect complete a new Heart Container, adding a full Heart to Link’s life energy. Lovely!

1	East Clock Town (Stock Pot Inn)	Reward for giving the Town Title Deed to the mysterious hand that pops out of the toilet at midnight during the Night of the Final Day.
2	South Clock Town	On the Clock Tower’s high ledge. Give the Moon’s Tear to the Business Scrub so you may use his Deku Flower to glide to the Clock Tower’s high ledge.
3	North Clock Town	Up in the tree near the playground. Climb onto the blocks and jump around to the slide, then leap to the tree.
4	West Clock Town (Swordsman’s School)	Reward for beating the Expert training session. (Split all 10 logs using only jump attacks.)
5	North Clock Town (Deku Scrub Playground)	Reward for beating the Deku Scrubs’ game on all three days (First, Second, and Final).
6	Termina Field	Purchase from the Business Scrub in the underground cavern near the observatory for 100 Rupees (decline his first offer of 150 Rupees to get a lower price). You must look through the astronomer’s telescope and watch the Scrub fly into the hole in the ground near the observatory in order for the Scrub to appear.
7	Termina Field	Run around the tall grass to the southwest of Clock Town until you fall into a hole, then defeat the Peahat in the underground cavern.
8	Termina Field	Drop into the hole in the northern snowfield, and slay the two big Dodongos.
9	West Clock Town	At night, put on Kamaro’s Mask and teach the Rosa Sisters a special dance.
10	Swamp Trail	Atop the big tree on the trail that leads to the Southern Swamp. Defeat the Bad Bats that circle the tree, and then climb up the vines.
11	Southern Swamp	Atop the Swamp Tourist Center. Trade the Town Title Deed to the Business Scrub to get the Swamp Title Deed, then use his Deku Flower to reach the roof.
12	Deku Palace	In the west Deku Gardens. Avoid the Deku guards to reach it.
13	Woodfall	In the northeast chest. Defeat the Mad Scrubs, and use their Deku Flowers to glide around the area in a big counterclockwise circle.
14	Southern Swamp (Swamp Tourist Center)	Take a pictograph of the Deku King and show it to the burly man at the counter in the Swamp Tourist Center.
15	Termina Field	Wear the Deku Mask and play the Sonata of Awakening for the standing stones in the four underground caverns around Termina Field.
16	West Clock Town (Post Office)	Enter the Post Office after 3 p.m. on the First Day and beat the postman’s training challenge. Put on the Bunny Hood to make it easier.
17	East Clock Town (Town Shooting Gallery)	Score 40 points to set the high score and win the Large Quiver, then earn a perfect score by hitting every red Octorok without missing any or running out of time.
18	East Clock Town (Honey & Darling’s Shop)	Beat Honey & Darling’s games on all three days (First, Second, and Final) without resetting time with the Song of Time.
19	Swamp Trail (Swamp Shooting Gallery)	Shoot every monster to score 2120 points and win the Largest Quiver, then play again and hit every monster again with at least 6 seconds left on the timer.
20	Goron Village	Atop the high south ledge. Trade the Swamp Title Deed with the Business Scrub for the Mountain Title Deed, then use his Deku Flower to reach the ledge.
21	East Clock Town (Treasure Chest Shop)	Beat the treasure chest game as Goron Link.
22	Great Bay Coast (Marine Research Lab)	Catch fish in bottles from ponds and streams, then climb onto the tank in the Marine Research Lab, and dump out the fish to feed the other fish that live in the tank. Feed them four to seven bottled fish to make one of them gobble up the other.
23	Termina Field	Bomb the large rock near the west fence that blocks access to the Great Bay. Drop into the hole and knock down a beehive, then use the Zora Mask to dive down for the Piece of Heart.
24	Road to Goron Village	Thaw out the mountain by beating the boss of Snowhead Temple, then use the Zora Mask to dive into the unfrozen lake and open the sunken chest.
25	Pirates’ Fortress	This is kept inside a cage in the tunnels Link sneaks through during his initial infiltration.
26	Snowhead Trail	Use the Lens of Truth near the northern jump to discover invisible platforms to the east. Jump to the final platform, then play the Scarecrow’s Song and Hookshot the scarecrow.
27	Romani Ranch	Win 150 Rupees (or more) at the Doggy Racetrack in a single race. You can win 3x your bet, so bet at least 50 Rupees for a chance to win. The Mask of Truth helps you pick a winner.
28	Great Bay Coast	Use the Hookshot to reach the high ledges near the northeast lagoon, then plant a Magic Bean in one of the ledges’ soft soil patches. Water it, ride the leaf platform to the next ledge, and then play the Scarecrow’s Song and Hookshot the scarecrow.
29	Zora Cape	As Zora Link, sink to the bottom of the southeast waterfall and defeat the Like Like.
30	Zora Cape (Waterfall Rapids)	Beat the beaver brothers again after beating them both the first time and winning the Empty Bottle.
31	Ikana Graveyard (Under the Graveyard)	During the Night of the Second Day, explore under the graveyard, and defeat the Iron Knuckle.
32	Zora Hall	Trade the Mountain Title Deed to the Business Scrub in Lulu’s dressing room, then launch up to the Piece of Heart.
33	Zora Hall	Read Mikau’s diary and complete the jam session with Japas, then play the entire song for Evan as human Link.
34	Ikana Graveyard (Beneath the Graveyard)	Defeat the Big Poe during your third expedition beneath the graveyard, and then open the chest that appears.
35	Oceanside Spider House	Speak to the six Stalchildren while wearing the Captain’s Hat for clues, then shoot the colored masks in the proper order.
36	Clock Town	Deposit 5,000 Rupees or more into your bank account.
37	Clock Town (Stock Pot Inn)	Put on the All-Night Mask, and ask Anju’s grandmother about the Carnival of Time. Answer “On the eve of the festival” when she asks you a question after her story.
38	Clock Town (Stock Pot Inn)	Put on the All-Night Mask, and ask Anju’s grandmother about the Four Giants. Answer “I dunno” when she asks you a question after her story.
39	Great Bay Coast (Pinnacle Rock)	Slay all of the sea snakes, and reunite the two Seahorses.
40	Great Bay Coast	Score 20 or more points in the Fisherman’s jumping mini-game. It’s only available after you clear the Great Bay Temple.
41	Mountain Village	Find all five frogs around Termina, speak to them while wearing Don Gero’s Mask, and then conduct the choir.
42	Ikana Canyon	Trade the Ocean Title Deed to the Business Scrub near the river’s east end, then use his Deku Flower to glide to the ledge across the river.
43	Ikana Canyon (Spirit House)	Pay 30 Rupees to play the game, and defeat the four Poe Sisters in under three minutes.
44	Ancient Castle of Ikana	Get on the castle’s roof and shoot the crystal switch on the north pillar. Leap to the nearby pillar with the Deku Flower, and glide over to the Piece of Heart before the flames return.
45	Ikana Canyon (Secret Shrine)	Swim to Ikana River’s west end to discover a secret shrine. Use a Light Arrow to open the door and defeat the four mini-bosses from previous dungeons.
46	Clock Town (Mayor’s Official Residence)	Speak to the Mayor while wearing the Couple’s Mask.
47	Clock Town	While wearing Keaton’s Mask, lift the central bush near the playground in North Clock Town to summon Keaton. Answer all five of Keaton’s questions correctly.
48	Clock Town	While wearing the Postman’s Hat, check any postbox around Clock Town.
49	Inside the Moon (Odolwa Kid’s Playground)	Use the second spinning platform’s gold Deku Flower to glide to the corner ledge.
50	Inside the Moon (Goht Kid’s Playground)	As Goron Link, roll around the track skillfully to reach the Piece of Heart.
51	Inside the Moon (Gyorg Kid’s Playground)	Swim through the maze of tunnels, taking the following turns at each junction: left, right, middle.
52	Inside the Moon (Twinmold Kid’s Playground)	This is found in the second to last room while Link is exploring the linear series of chambers.
