Gliding Game
The child in the Odolwa Mask sends you to a most unusual place: a floorless cavern with two spinning platforms in its center. Put on the Deku Mask and burrow into the entry ledge’s Deku Flower, then launch out and glide onto one of the arms of the first spinning platform. It takes a few seconds to reach the platform, so start gliding early, and meet the platform as it turns toward you.
Burrow into the Deku Flower on the first spinning platform’s arm, then launch up and glide to one of the room’s outside ledges. Notice that the second spinning platform features a gold Deku Flower. Use your ledge’s Deku Flower to reach the second spinning platform, aiming to land on the arm that holds the gold Deku Flower.
Quickly dive into the gold Deku Flower to avoid being knocked off the platform by the spiked spinner on top. (You’re safe as long as you remain burrowed in the Deku Flower.) As the platform spins around, spy a corner ledge with a gold Deku Flower. Launch up from your gold Deku Flower, and glide over to that ledge to discover a Piece of Heart.
Piece of Heart #49
You got a Piece of Heart! Collect four Pieces of Heart to assemble a new Heart Container. Each new container you put together increases the amount of life energy you can have.
Glide back over to the second spinning platform, but this time, aim to land on the arm with the normal (pink) Deku Flower. Burrow into that Deku Flower, and this time, launch out and glide to the other corner ledge, passing between two trees to reach it.
Land on the ledge, and then go through the door to find the masked child waiting for you. Take off the Deku Mask and speak to the child, who asks you for another mask. Give him one that no longer holds much value, and you’ll be returned to the grassy field with the big tree.
More Kid’s Play
Return to the big tree, and save your game. Speak with the child who wears Goht’s Mask next. (It’s the mask with the two big horns that the bull-like boss of Snowhead Temple wore.) Give this child two masks to play his game.
