Sharp as a Razor
Well, look at the time! After you’ve succeeded in helping Romani, it is very close to the Dawn of the Second Day. Allow the dawn to come, then play the Inverted Song of Time to slow down time again. Soar to Mountain Village afterward, and enter the Mountain Smithy’s shop. Your sword should be ready by now.
Sure enough, the Mountain Smithy has completed his work. The blacksmith proudly hands you an exceptional blade: the Razor Sword.
Razor Sword
Your Kokiri Sword has been strengthened into a Razor Sword! This new, sharper blade is a cut above the rest. Use it up to 100 times without dulling its superior edge.
Another Upgrade
The Razor Sword sure is sharp, but it only lasts for 100 strikes before it dulls and reverts back to Link’s plain-old Kokiri Sword. That just won’t do. Speak to the blacksmith again, and this time, give him the Gold Dust that you won from the Goron Racetrack during the First Day. The blacksmith is wowed by the Gold Dust’s fine quality, and since there will still be some Gold Dust left over, he agrees to reforge your sword again, free of charge. What a guy.
