Spring into Action
Roll in short bursts to maintain control as you cross the Road to Goron Village’s wooden bridges. Keep going until you come to a large chunk of ice that’s covering a hole in the ground. You know what to do! Dump out your Hot Spring Water near the ice to melt it and uncover the hole.
Drop into the hole to discover another hot spring. Nice! Defeat the Deku Babas down here for Deku Sticks if desired, and bomb the boulders to discover a chest that contains a Red Rupee. Refill your bottle with Hot Spring Water before returning to the surface.
Thawing out the Elder
Drop down to the Road to Goron Village’s frozen lake, and search for the frozen old Goron that you saw down here before. Use your Hot Spring Water to thaw out the old Goron, who seems confused about what’s happening.
Talk to the old Goron while wearing the Goron Mask, and keep speaking with him until he recognizes you as the Gorons’ hero, Darmani. You’ve found the Goron Elder!
The Goron Elder is saddened to hear that his son is so distraught over his absence, and asks you to help sooth his weeping son. To help you accomplish this, the Elder teaches you a special melody. Try as he might, though, the Elder can’t remember all of the notes. He settles for teaching you the first few notes, hoping that it might help. Follow the Elder’s lead to learn the Lullaby Intro.
