Woodfall Restored

Now that the temple’s evil has been undone, a new pathway has emerged from Woodfall’s waters. And, what do you know? The water is no longer poisoned! All of the enemies that used to lurk around here are gone, as well. Link can now swim about and explore the area without fear of being harmed.

Restoring the Great Fairy

The Deku Princess is eager to return to her palace, but first, pay a visit to the nearby Fairy’s Fountain. Run north along the ramp from the temple, then swim west to dry land. Scale a few ramps to reach a Deku Flower, then glide over to the west ledge and enter the high west cave.

Stroll to the center of the Fairy’s Fountain, and the 15 Stray Fairies that Link is carrying fly out and join the others. Well done; the Great Fairy of Wisdom has been restored!

As thanks for Link’s aid, the Great Fairy of Wisdom enhances his magic power. Now Link has twice as much magic power at his disposal. This is sure to come in handy during the many trials that you’ve yet to face.

To Deku Palace!

Leave the Fairy’s Fountain, and swim north. Exit Woodfall via its north passage to return to the Southern Swamp. Save your progress at the save statue when you arrive, then drop from the high ledge and swim south through the now-purified water. Climb onto the dock, and take the south passage to Deku Palace.
