Growing Lovelier by the Bay
After soaring to the Great Bay Coast, swim north, heading back to the northeast lagoon as if you were going to bottle up some more fish from the little pond. Stand near the pond, but instead of fishing, look up and spy an anchor stone atop a high east ledge above you. Get close enough so that you can fire the Hookshot at the anchor stone and zip up onto the ledge.
The next ledge to the north is lower than the one you’re standing on, and it features a hole. Dropping through the hole lands you in a cavern with two cows that give you free milk if you play them Epona’s Song. However, don’t drop down to the hole—Hookshot over to the next ledge’s anchor stone instead. Hookshot again to the next ledge, and you’ll discover a patch of soft soil.
Plant your Magic Bean in the ledge’s soft soil. Now you just need to water it. Do this by playing the Song of Storms, which you recently learned from Flat in the Ikana Graveyard. This makes it rain, growing the leaf platform for you without the need for Spring Water. How convenient!
Ride the leaf platform up to the next ledge, and jump off. Notice that Tatl flies over to a final distant ledge. There must be something over there, but it’s too far to reach. Play the Scarecrow’s Song that you created back in Clock Town to summon the scarecrow over by Tatl.
You know what to do. Use the Hookshot to zip over to the scarecrow. Hey, there’s a Piece of Heart over here!
Piece of Heart #28
You got a Piece of Heart! Collect four Pieces of Heart to assemble a new Heart Container. Each new container you put together increases the amount of life energy you can have.
To Zora Cape
Soar back to the Great Bay Coast’s owl statue and swim directly east, heading for the beach. When you hit sand, put on the Stone Mask and go south, traveling through a tunnel that leads to Zora Cape.
