Narcis Prince is a narcissistic fighter much like Street Fighter’s Vega. He skillfully blends offense and defense in a more punishing manner than any opponents before him, but punches to his face send him into a blind rage. The V on his sweater stands for “Victory,” which he has already assured himself will be the result of the match.
Both the oldest and lightest boxer in the W.V.B.A., Hoy Quarlow appears to be a frail old man relying on a cane to move. However, players quickly learn that Quarlow is the Punch-Out!! equivalent of Yoda, with deceptively fast attacks and dodges. He wields his wooden staff as a weapon in the ring in addition to utilizing various martial arts.
The younger of the Bruiser Bros., Rick’s sole loss came to his twin brother, an event he regrets every day. He secretly seeks revenge and “practices” against any and all challengers. Rick smiles and talks more than his brother, and also sports an earring, but otherwise is essentially identical in both style and appearance.
This Frankenstein-esque beast of a man is the final opponent of Super Punch-Out!! Having beaten out his own brother for the title of Special Circuit Champion, Nick’s array of powerful attacks can quickly destroy even experienced players.
Despite their time at the top in Super Punch-Out!!, the mysterious Bruiser Brothers do not reappear elsewhere in the series.
