Rainbow Road is without question the most emblematic course in the entire Mario Kart franchise. Despite being set in an obsidian abyss a la Ghost Valley, the epic upbeat music and awe-inspiring titular track itself all fulfill the developers’ original vision of creating an amusement park experience. Upon reaching this stage there is no doubt that this is the much-deserved climax of the game. Just don’t fall off!
